I've tried to get a feel for the character of the new Pope, but the information on him is pretty vague.
Now Barnhardt is a Catholic and she's very traditionalist about it. This new guy isn't like that at all, and that's what's gotten her upset.
It does look like it fits a pattern. Western Civilization just keeps "Slouching towards Gomorrah". This new Pope fits right in with that pattern.
Not everybody agrees, of course. Dick Morris has put up a couple of "good news" videos. Yes, not everything is bad, but the vitals aren't so good. The trends are worse.
