Western Journal: Deficit spending under Trump's first 100 days drops 92%

It seems incredible. Projected out for a full year, it would be like the deficit hitting a brick wall. Let's see what the official numbers are.

David Bombal: "Reclaim Your Privacy" (video)

As for yours truly, I'm almost free of Windows. Google is an almost situation too. I do have a pixel phone which has been de-Googled. However, someone did it for me ( Brax Me website).

Instead of wimping out, I could try doing it myself. However, there is a risk of "bricking" your phone. That's not a good situation to be in. The safe option would be to buy a de-Googled from Braxman.

I'm feeling a bit more daring at the moment, but it is only in the "thinking about it" phase.

Dirty Harry--- District Attorney Scene

It is an old movie now. Dirty Harry was made over 50 years ago. Indeed, I saw it in the theater at the time. The key point is that the District Attorney knows the Scorpio serial killer is guilty, but the law prevents him from putting him behind bars. Why mention this? It seems that the Democrats are guilty of sedition, and the Trump Administration may go after them, but will they get any convictions? I'm going to predict that they will not succeed if they try. In the movie, the D.A. refuses to go to trial because it will be a waste of taxpayer's money. But would that really be so in the real world? The Democrats will complain about wasting taxpayer's money, but it could serve the public interest to have a trial anyway, if that trial exposes the Democrat's sedition enough to harm them politically, although not enough for a conviction.

A real life example is the OJ Simpson murder case. His acquittal was shocking to me personally. However, Simpson never got back his reputation. That wasn't much in the way of accountability, but it was better than nothing at all. In an imperfect world, this may be the best that can be done. The DA in the Dirty Harry movie should have prosecuted. The taxpayer argument was just an excuse to do nothing.

Will justice be served?

This is the same Ed Martin who had his nomination as US Attorney for DC shot down by Senator Tillis?

Anyway, the story seems to have gone cold. That reminds me of something. Perhaps there's something about it that may not be best served...

Cults are the latest thing

This one is now on my radar screen. Thus, I will discuss it.

The political left has gone beserk over Elon Musk. He has 71% of Democrats agreeing to the proposition that Musk should be in jail. It wasn't that long ago that Musk was the darling of the political left. He was electrifying the automobile's power plant (ICE), which AlGore called the most dangerous thing on Earth ( or something like that ). If that didn't raise him to the level of a God, then what else could for the left? The left is now outrage that the automotive God has fallen to the status of the Devil. Rational people didn't do this, and rational people won't demonize the guy because he hooked up with Trump.

Ah, and then there's Trump. The Devil du jour for the left. The left cannot stand opposition, and will not tolerate it. Trump isn't new in that regard. They did the same for George W. Bush and the papa Bushie. They would've done it to Reagan if they could've. They forced Nixon to resign. It is to be expected that there would be opposition in a democratic system, but this is beyond reason. There can be no such thing as a Loyal Opposition according to the left. Anybody who disagrees is a bad person.

Let's not exempt the so-called "right" from the discussion. The cultish impulse runs pretty strong.

But there should be accountability in the system. But there are RULES to follow. These RULES are called laws. The laws exist for a REASON. However, once cultism takes over, reason goes out the window.

Reason depends upon logic and evidence. A person guided entirely by emotion cannot be reasoned with.

You don't throw somebody in jail just because they disagree with you. You don't allow someone to be judge, jury, and executioner of somebody you don't like.. Does that ring a bell? Luigi Mangione anyone? The guy who got shot allegedly by Mangione did not get any DUE PROCESS. Due process works for everybody, or it doesn't work at all.

But wait! What about the "Maryland Man"? The Maryland Man has gotten due process already. How many times does he get due process before it counts? The Supreme Court said itself that the POTUS has the authority to deport him. What else is there to decide?

A society can be paralyzed into indecision if there are competing cults everywhere who contradict each other at every turn. Matters have to get settled. We used to have elections for that purpose. Evidently, elections don't seem to matter anymore.

But what good is an election if the election doesn't follow basic rules? What good are elections if the losing side won't accept the outcome? The left originally AGREED that Trump won the latest election. Now they are trying to overturn that result.

Something has to give. Perhaps the cultish fad is the thing that has to go. We have processes that determine guilt if laws have been violated. Even if a conviction cannot be obtained in a courtroom, a type of accountability CAN be obtained. OJ Simpson didn't get convicted of the murder of his wife and Ronald Goldman, but he wasn't in any more Hertz commercials.

It's not much, but it is better than nothing. The political left is pushing the cultish impulse. They reject reason. The reject logic. They disregard evidence. The BELIEVE things. For them, the belief matters above all else. Against this we have the potential to guide ourselves reasonably. It seems like a clear direction to follow. Otherwise, it is the rule of the jungle, which means no rules at all.

Incidentally, I posted on this before. The Vice News thing was a hit piece because it came after the Twitter acquisition. If Musk is a cult figure, it was because the left fell for it. Now they are pissed off because he's not one of them after all.

"Drinking the Kool-Aid" is a  reference to Jim Jones, who was a cult figure.  Jones was a left-winger, and you'd never guess that Kamala Harris' pedigree comes straight through Jim Jones.

Trump withdraws Martin nomination for US Attorney for DC

The Ed Martin nomination is now kaput, as POTUS just withdrew the nomination. How does this affect the possibility of Boasberg taking over the selection?

A watered down RINO may be better than Boasberg, but it does seem like in 2017 that the asst-AG at the time took over and nominated Mueller for Special Prosecutor. That guy (Rosen-something, maybe Rosenstein) was supposedly a Republican, for whatever that's worth.

That was a huge fiasco for Trump, and an argument could be made that it resulted in at least one of the impeachments, if not both of them. Therefore, the problem still could exist. But I don't know all the ins and outs of procedure in DC, so maybe it is over. ( in a sense , maybe, kinda )

It's not about due process, it's about the revolution

9:18 AM:

Holy deja vu, Batman! In 2017, the Dems got Sessions to recuse, and we ended up with Mueller as Special Prosecutor. This brought in the Democrats in 2018, and we got two impeachments.... They're going to try the same thing all over again. They got rid of Gaetz, and we got Bondi. Bondi is a light weight. No prosecutions of any note yet, and probably never if this goes down. Then, we get Boasberg nominating the DC prosecutor, and we'll get BIG TROUBLE.

Unbelievable as it may seem, it follows the same kind of pattern. It must be stopped NOW before it is too late.

6:41 AM:

So it doesn't make sense for the Dems to want to die on the Gangbanger Hill until you realize that this isn't about the Gangbangers or due process, it is about the Revolution. So it goes on all issues, straight down the line.

Quick update:

Just found this item, check it out:

Paxton is running against Senator John Cornyn of Texas

5/8/25:

Wrap your mind around this one, fellow Texans... John Cornyn won't say if he will vote to confirm or not confirm Ed Martin. Is it because Martin will vigorously investigate ALL of what happened on J6th, and prosecute ANYONE who violated the law? That would include any false flag events, I would presume. I am very suspicious of John Cornyn here, and in general. He tries to pass himself off as a Trump supporter in his ads for reelection, but if Martin is not confirmed, this radical judge will appoint the US attorney for DC.

Just chew on that one for awhile...

5/7/25:

Where does Cornyn stand on the issue of Boasberg v the elected President of the United States?

A day that would live in infamy if a nation had any honor left to lose

This country dishonors itself continually, then wears a badge of honor to celebrate their self-proclaimed virtue.

Perhaps it is fitting that the only thing that this country seems to be good at anymore is in rewarding those who would destroy it.

Some would point to me and ask why I am tearing down the country. If asked thusly, I'd answer with that I'm only reporting what our alleged leaders have done with their inheritance. But we choose our leaders. Yes, and we will likely reap what we've sown.

This is a dark day. A day of mourning for a wayward nation should take place, but only a celebration for its self-immolation.

P.S. This looks like the insides of a tokomak, which is a fusion reactor. There's no reason for a fission reactor to look like this.

Texans should sit up and take notice of this

5/7/25, 7 AM:

If you don't understand this post, you aren't paying attention. Or you are in denial. Boasberg is as rogue as they come. But a faction of Senators are going to allow him to appoint the US Attorney to the DC Circuit. This is like setting up a shadow government. A government within a government.

You may not like Trump, but even the left wingers agree that he was elected. Boasberg has not been elected, and is not accountable to anyone...

10:24 AM:

This one snuck up on me. It so happens that Tillis is on the committee, and without his vote, the nomination cannot get out of the committee. That one got by me. Therefore, because of this one guy, we get this result. Cornyn escapes blame, but I don't like him anyway.

The blame should go to the Majority Leader, if that is his responsibility to put a guy like this on an important committee as this one.

Unbelieveable to me that the GOP can run Congress and the Presidency, but it won't matter anyway. The Dems might as well be in charge if you can get a result like this. Somebody is going to have to pay for this hanging, you might say.

5/6/25:

Comment:

The Red State article is much too generous to Rove, in my opinion. This latest move has no real political backing, as Trump increased margins in Texas in 2024. The establishmentarians have no claims, except for the usual phony liberal propaganda. If anything, they are trying to subvert Trump's real victory that occurred just months ago. If Cornyn and Cruz want to make an issue of Trump's leadership, and really want to hurt him, here's their big opportunity. Or is it? I'll definitely remember this double cross. You can count on it.

Beamer upper for the day

The article also admits that they are no closer to room temperature superconductors. If it isn't room temperature, it isn't practical, nor affordable. Duh.

Let's see what Carney's got

5/6/25, 7:24 AM:

Mr. Carney goes to Washington in order to meet Darth Trump.

Perhaps he can turn the EEEEViL Trump to the good side like Luke Skywalker did. Then we'd all be fwee! Yippee!

Canadians are going to be watching this closely, it says. Will their Great White Hope come through?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Frankly, I don't know how it will all go. Hopefully not down the poop chute. Methinks the Carney character is a snake that has the forked tongue. No telling what he may conjure up.

2:31 PM:

Hmmm. I thought Mr. Carney was going to kick some Trump ass. Must've been mistaken.

2:48 PM

Didn't Carney say that Trump wants Canada's resources? Carney and his party put it under lock and key. The Dems have done it in America, but Trump will unlock America's mineral wealth. What will Carney do? Watch Canada go broke, most likely.

9:13 PM:

Just saw something on Just the News, which involves a comment from Rebel News. It said that Carney got off light. Who's Rebel News? A little about them, thanks to Grok AI:

Rebel News is a Canadian online media outlet known for its right-wing, conservative commentary and activism. Founded in 2015 by Ezra Levant, it focuses on issues like free speech, immigration, government overreach, and cultural topics, often taking a contrarian stance against mainstream narratives. It operates primarily through its website, social media, and video content, positioning itself as an alternative to traditional media. Rebel News has been criticized for promoting controversial or misleading content, with some labeling it as propaganda, while supporters view it as a voice for underrepresented perspectives. The outlet has faced legal battles, including a Federal Court ruling that it’s not primarily engaged in producing original news content but rather activism. It’s also known for crowdfunding campaigns and public stances against censorship.

I'd agree with Rebel News that Carney is dangerous, as all leftists are. Too many people will get taken in by his BS. Carney and Trump have known each other for years. They don't hate each other, or so it appears.

Catturd

Ah, I see. The only appointees that will make a difference are the ones that will be rejected! Like Gaetz and this guy for US Attorney for DC.

The GOP is useless. Must do an aggressive primary campaign to get rid of as many of them as possible. It should start now. Take no prisoners...

5:40 PM:

Uh, oh! It's worse than I thought. If this guy isn't confirmed, a very bad judge Boasberg is going to be able to appoint the US Attorney for DC. If that happens, we get a lot of very bad outcomes, youse people.

It so happens that one of Texas' Senators is one of the holdouts on the confirmation. If he lets this happen, his name should be MUD. But it has always been so for me, though. Cornyn has to go.

Why is Gen Z so poor? (video)

I watched about 6 minutes of this, and stopped. It was belaboring the obvious I felt. Time is short. Perhaps the video had some SOLUTIONS, but this was 6 minutes of PROBLEMS. If you are a GenZ'er, you don't need a recitation of your problems. You already should know.

There was a mention of Boomers, of which I am one. Why should a GenZ'er read anything I write? Evidently, the Boomers are the problem, eh?

There are a few things here called premises. If you don't know what a premise is, then you are lost. That's because you cannot identify one when you see it.

The premise here is that the GenZ'ers don't have wealth. That has to be SOMEBODY'S fault, now doesn't it? The premise here is that wealth is being hoarded by the few, at the expense of the many.

I would suggest that this is a faulty premise.

The commies will take advantage of such faulty premises to ensnare the GenZ'ers into their web of deceit.

So, what's the GenZ'er going to do? Well, as a Boomer myself, I won't have anything to say about it. I'd suggest that you read Al Fin's blog and become a dangerous child. What does that mean?

Learn how to do things for yourselves. Commies will teach you how to be dependent upon them. A dangerous child can fend for himself/herself.

Why are there so many pedophlles among the ranks of Antifa?

Bill of Rights? What's that????

Compare and contrast this video, and the talking heads on the pinko side, who wail mawkishly about the 5th Amendment and the Bill of Rights that they love so much. /barf

These videos will open your eyes. But it does little good if you intend to be willfully blind.

Ivermectin type drug as a cancer treatment

There's a connection to Ivermectin here? Let's keep this one on file, hence the post.

Incidentally, I KNEW I saw this somewhere...  The news has been "out there" for several years.  I'm looking for dosage info, but no luck so far.

Communism can only succeed if it is allowed to succeed.

There has been a loss in manufacturing in the USA since the end of WWII. It resulted from the exfiltration of wealth from the USA in order to rebuild the shattered economies of the world. At the end of that war, the USA was the only nation not devastated by the war. This policy was known as the Marshall Plan. It was promulgated during the Truman Administration. It so happens that it was a successful policy that prevented the spread of communism from the Soviet Union to the rest of Europe.

The theory was that destitute countries would turn to communism, because it seemed a way out of their miserable circumstances. That theory proved to be correct. However, the policy never ended after the fall of the Soviet Union. The economies of Europe continue to protect their own economies, while the United States spread its obsolete policy throughout the world.

In the meantime, the USA hollowed out its own manufacturing base, and sent it to China. The Chinese never gave up on communism. Even though they follow a capitalist model, it is overseen by the CCP.

Why would a communist party do that but to use capitalism in order to destroy capitalism?

The communists like to say that the capitalist will sell them the rope so that they can hang the capitialists. Well, here we are.

Now that Europe may have to face the rapacious Chinese export machine, they begin to whine to us about it. If the Europeans had built up the muscles instead of insisting upon living the sweet life, they'd be better positioned to compete with the Chinese. As for the USA, we've let the left wing practice its Cultural Marxism without any real pushback from the so-called right.

It is the so-called right that cannot marshall enough gumption to stand up to the Chinese and the communists and stop this exfiltration of wealth. That's because the so-called right has swallowed down the Marxism Paradigm, which always favored the "March of History" towards communism. Or so the theory goes.

If the West doesn't wake the hell up, communism will win a victory through guile and deceit. Or to put it better, the West will have forfeited its place in history.

Rush Limbaugh's opening monologue on his first TV show in 1992

Comment:

This is not the full show. It was on this show, he discussed liberalism as a football game. The game he talked about was a game in which it ended in a tie. He summed up the game as liberalism.

The young generation may be attracted to liberalism because the liberals love to talk about equality. The young buy into the liberal lie that the liberals will make the world more fair and "equal". It is a lie because nobody seeks a "tie". The liberals want to win, and to win, they will lie to the naive young, and regale them with the fiction of equality.

Reality sinks in eventually and all the free stuff has to be paid for. How do you pay for all your easy living?

You cannot. Then you fall into poverty and servitude.

There's a moral to the story. Freedom ain't free. You cannot go through lives with skulls full of mush. You must make your way in this world, and stop worrying about being equal and fair about everything. The world doesn't work that way. Primarily, you stop listening to phony baloney liberals who talk a good game of bull, but deliver you to the poor house.

Stick to your day job, Billy boy

War Between the US and Canada? Yes, It’s Now a Real Possibility

Discern Report

Comment:

The recently posted link to a video should dispel any notion that there'll be a "war". Canada cannot make much of a war against the USA, and the USA doesn't need to invade.

The article is junk.

Neil Oliver and David Krayden Discuss Recent Canada Election and Future of Alberta Secession

CTH ( embedded Neil Oliver video )

Comment:

Neither of these two in the video are Americans. Canadians were swindled. Carney will oversee the destruction of Canada, and the Canadians thought they voted against that.

Confirmation: The political left hates the truth

Secretary Rubio answers a question about the 51st State issue, and it is a bit of an eye-opener. Question: Did the Canadians know this when they went to the polls and elected Carney as their leader?

Maybe it wouldn't have made any difference, but it sure seems peculiar that they'd make an issue out of telling the truth.
