ThinkOrbital's ThinkPlatform

Marcus House does a SpaceX update, and mentions this, which is new to me...

So I looked up ThinkOrbital, and found this video...

ThinkOrbital won't get funding from NASA, but NASA will work with them. We may see this in the future.

Too bad that it may be..., shall we say, late...

Temper tantrum

Temper tantrum

While Schiff was censured, the Democrats gathered together in what appeared to be a mostly empty House chamber, and chanted "shame" at the Speaker afterwards. The scene was described as a "temper tantrum".

Democrats chant shame after censure of Schiff

This is worth a bit of discussion... Shouldn't there be rules against such demonstrations in the House? After all, it appears disorderly. It doesn't make a good impression. But that may be the idea... After all, What IS the idea of doing this? In order to stop the process? Didn't the Democrats just spend their entire recent term of two years in trying to call a demonstration an "insurrection"?

The censure was a legitimate use of perogative in accordance with the Constitution, and presumably to House Rules. If there is to be no discipline, then how is order to be maintained?

The demonstration doesn't cross the threshold of violent acting out, but it isn't far from one. In other words, this isn't a tantrum, but it is getting mighty close.

It could be argued that such a demonstration is meant to intimidate... After all, what is the point of the demonstration but to do that very thing?

A protest is permissible, but should not be carried out in the House Chamber. Don't government officials issue permits for demonstrations? There are rights to free speech, but freedom of speech doesn't include the right to intimidate, or act in any menacing way.

The video I saw of this showed no GOP members, or very few. Therefore, it could be theorized that they knew of this, and the Speaker allowed them to leave. The Speaker also allowed the demonstration. I would think it preferable to have any member acting in defiance of rules, to be subjected to further discipline.

If the GOP caves in to this, it will be seen as being effective.

Rep Schiff of Collyfornia is censured

Rep Schiff of Collyfornia is censured

Schiff censure

Actually, this is yesterday's link, so it is old news. Schiff has already been censured.

Was the fine the issue? This new version doesn't have the fine. As far as the Dems are concerned, there is no reason to be complaining. They went after Trump without cause. Actually, a lot more of this needs to come down the pike so as to get the message across.

What message is that? That you do not go on fishing expeditions to try to get somebody you don't like. The use of government power for this purpose is actually against the law, in particular, if it is political in nature.

There wasn't any collusion. They didn't even have probable cause of any investigation whatsoever. At best, there MAY have been a cause to investigate on an intelligence basis. But without any evidence of wrongdoing, the entire investigation was a fishing expedition. I said so from the start of the Mueller appointment.

The fact that they had two votes suggests that the GOP really doesn't want to hold the Dems accountable.

What will the investigation lead to? Will Schiff's situation actually be up to a vote for ejection from the House? I hope so. Even if only one guy gets the boot, it will be something. More than likely, he will be right back, though. There's no real accountability in politics.

Gab video embed

Gettr social media

This one has been around for awhile, and it has taken awhile for me to get to it. No explanation other than the last internet provider, whatever that means. I could think of something, but I'll leave that up to the reader.

It would be great to get all of my alternative sites together, but I've been really slow in doing that. I've got gttr, gab, truth and rumble. I've managed to embed posts with truth and rumble. Now gttr. Don't know about gab, but that could be next.

Here's the embed:

Thank you, sir! May have I another?

Hunter Biden situation

It is rather hard to believe, but there may be people out there who actually think that the Bidens are honest people. Part of this is the bubble that people can get into. The media won't report all the facts, so there's got to be people who are completely uninformed about the situation. The media will leave the impression that Hunter Biden really is just a sort of victim of partisan GOP attacks.

People may also flip that around on Trump, but what if Trump is really innocent? I think he is, and I think that the DOJ is completely partisan now. That's especially true in deep blue zones, and DC in particular.

I didn't buy into the Russian collusion nonsense from day one. The rest is just the same kind of pattern. If one of their tactics doesn't work, they'll try another.

The two people, Biden and Trump, are not comparable. Of course, there are those who will have you believe that they are.

There is one thing that needs to be understood about the left. They will do anything and say anything to win. The GOP tries to play the game by rules that the Democrats care nothing about. Dems will pretend that they do, but it is all a fake. Only when the system accuses THEM do they get interested in fairness.  Unfortunately, there are those within the GOP who actually are helping the Dems with their fakery.

On the other hand, a GOP type will not make things up on Dems, in contrast to the left, who will swear up and down that their fakery is true right to the end---even if it isn't. If the GOP DID act like the left, there'd be more of an even match up.

I don't believe that that means that the GOP should lie and cheat. Instead, it should be understood that the left acts like this is a war, and the so-called right acts like it is a mere disagreement. The so-called right tries to be civilized, but is that possible in such a scenario as this?

This requires a different kind of approach, but the GOP will not do what is necessary. The outcome is likely to not be a good one for those who would prefer that we all be civilized. The other side isn't interested in that...  This is a type of internal COLD WAR.

Yeats, The Second Coming

6-20-23: Update for post of 4-5-23

The original post included only an embedded video, of which I don't recollect anything. Too bad. That's because the video was taken down, and nothing has been said as to why.

I notice this happening on old posts, and wonder about what's driving this. The idea for making the post was not to promote contention. At least, I don't think so. Nor was it to reflect badly upon the video. Then why would anyone object?

At any rate, I do not like my posts being changed without my knowledge nor understanding about what was objectionable about it.

"https://poets.org/poem/second-coming?mbd=1" is what is left of the embedded html. Either poets dot org objected, or somebody else did. As a consequence, I will repost another video about the poem. As far as I know, there should be no objection to this. Many videos that I embed have been on youtube for a long time. So, it is rather curious that just because I post about it, somebody wants to take it down.

Here's the new video. Let's see what happens to it.

How reliable is the news? ( Updated 5.30.17 )

Updated 6-19-23

Now that the latest fake attack on Trump has occurred, it is fitting to point out that we still don't know who killed Seth Rich. Do they want to know???? Did they EVER want to know????

So I see that Pence went on one of the Sunday shows, and had something of a debate yesterday. Of course, I didn't bother to click on it. The way it is written up, it is like Pence is defending Trump... Nope. Not going to even give that one an ounce of credibility.

Those like Pence aren't interested in winning. You see, the Never Trumpers are out there saying that Trump can't win, but it isn't serious. How can someone like Pence be SERIOUS???  Nobody is going to support Pence. Even the Never Trumpers know he can't win. The point is that they don't care if he can't win. It is just a ruse.

And DeSantis? DeSantis is like the Bushes. They'll put on a convincing act, and it will dupe many. Here's the thing about DeSantis. He will pretend to be conservative, just like Dubya did. But how conservative did Bush stay? It should also be noted that Bush wouldn't pardon Scooter Libby even though they knew Scooter Libby was innocent, and that the investigation shouldn't even have occurred. They knew who was the real guilty party, but they conducted the investigation anyway in order to DISCREDIT BUSH. Yet, Bush did nothing to help Libby. Trump pardoned him.

DeSantis is what they call the "controlled opposition". The only purpose of the guy is to keep the natives from getting restless. Know what I mean, Vern?

Therefore, to take any of this seriously isn't serious. That's because the Dems aren't interested in justice. Not even one of their own who gets murdered.

We still don't know who murdered Seth Rich because there are those who don't want to know.

Last updated on, well, you know:

Not very, it seems.  If you chase some of this stuff down enough, you will find questionable sources.  I see them in the news blurbs out there.

Fake news makes it in the conscience stream and seems to stay them even when its accuracy has been questioned elsewhere.  Case in point:  it seems like the Russian hacking of the DNC server was questioned long ago.  Yet, it is still being claimed to be true.  Or not adequately debunked.

Comey was questioned about the alleged DNC hacking by the Russians, and he said that the FIB never even had direct access to their servers because the Dems refused.  A third party was allowed access, and this is what the FIB relied upon in its report.  The credibility of that third party has been questioned by Voice of America.  Why was the FIB relying upon third party information in its reports?  Why is the FIB adding to the fake news?

If this is true, then how did WikiLeaks get those emails?  That leads you back to the murder of the DNC staffer, Seth Rich.  Later, those reports seem to get debunked too, but Fox has not retracted its story about the staffer.  In any event, the original reports about the Russian hack are questionable at best.

We still don't have a solution to the murder of Seth Rich.  We still don't know how WikiLeaks got those emails.  Why is nobody interested in that?  Why are these people still chasing the Russian hack when there's only questionable evidence of that, and there's an unsolved murder that could explain it?

Oh, and there's been more than more DNC staffer murdered recently.

15:02, 5.17.17:

It seems that the decision to stand down on the investigation of the Rich murder is highly questionable.  Who told them to stand down??????????????????????????????????

15:08

After re-reading the CIA dump story linked above, I am convinced that the original claim that the Russians hacked the DNC emails, which was reported by the FIB ( who is in the fake news biz, it seems ), has been completely debunked.  In other words, it is FAKE.

The Fox Story has not, as far as I can tell.  In other words, a murder may explain it all, but nobody is interested, especially the DC police and the FIB.

But the Dems sure didn't want Comey fired, now did they?

15:26

Who the hell is this Jim Comey anyway?  Suspicions seem to be alighting upon him.  Could that be the real reason he has been fired?  He may be corrupt.  Did you know that Comey was connected to the Valerie Plame nonsense, that got Scooter Libby charged with a process crime even though Libby wasn't the one who outed Plame?  That Comey has been connected to the Clintons for a long, long time?  Comey was appointed US Attorney by POTUS George W. Bush.  Funny about all these connections.  Comey was connected to Clintons before Bush became Prez.  Okay, why did Bush appoint him?  Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

16:39

The dogs that aren't barking.  Normally, when someone prominent like the congress-lady from Arizona, gets shot, the media and the Dems play it up.  But no noise whatever from them about the Seth Rich murder, who was one of their own.  The dogs weren't barking.  Why not?

19:32

What I have found out
  • WikiLeaks' Assange said that a disgruntled staffer was the source of the WikiLeaks emails, not a Russian hacker
  • WikiLeaks paid for the private investigator that investigated the murder of DNC staffer Seth Rich
  • Private investigator said that FIB or DC police has Rich's computer
  • DC police was told to stand down on the investigation of the murder
  • The Russian email hack has been completely debunked.  It is most likely a planted story by the FBI  ( aka here as FIB)
  • Comey was the director of the FIB while this was happening
  • Obama was still POTUS while this was happening
  • Comey has a long history with the Clintons
  • Comey was US Attorney in charge of the investigation of the controversial Clinton pardon of Marc Rich
  • Comey is connected with naming of the special prosecutor that convicted Scooter Libby of a process crime.  Comey named Patrick Fitzgerald the special counsel in connection with the Valerie Plame affair.  The affair was about a leak of Plame's identity.  The actual leaker was not prosecuted.
The dogs weren't barking at the killing of a DNC staffer, but they are barking furiously at Trump.  It is for what reason?  A non-existent hacker?  Or to protect somebody guilty of a crime?

5.30.17, 6:15:

Why bring up the Seth Rich murder?  You have a murder of a DNC staffer.  The DNC doesn't want anyone poking into their business in order to investigate a murder, for heavens sake.  But we don't have a crime, and so we must investigate Trump-Russian connections. /sarc

Once again, it seems to me that the whole point of investigating Trump is to hide a crime.  You already have the DNC trying to hide something.  What are they trying to hide?

It seems to me that if you are sympathetic to the Democrats, then why bring up the Seth Rich murder?

Dogs barking now?  Why now?  Why bark at this, but why not bark at Trump instead?  Curious.

While a poll says 30% GOP thinks Doc indictment serious, one should ask "What about this?"

Hunter Biden emails show Burisma Executive opened Maltese bank account for him

Keep in mind, Hunter's laptop wasn't even acknowledged as real, now this is out there. Worse than that, it was called "Russian disinformation". More and more evidence piles up on Biden, but what are we talking about? The latest Dem fake accusation. UPDATE! Key witness in Burisma Biden bribery scheme has been found dead. Arkancided?

You have to wonder why those on the GOP side who continue to aid the Democrats, then expect to get any support for their candidates. There is provable criminality here, but their focus is on Trump. This is so even after there's proven cases that Dem's charges are fake.

What the hell is wrong with these people? They claim Trump cannot win, and that Trump causes them to lose, but they were losing long before Trump showed up. Trump shows that he can win, but they won't support him. Even after all this.

The 30% number may be fake too. Polls are unreliable. But there's no denying that there are GOP candidates that continue to push the Dem's false narratives. Trump says to primary their asses. Indeed, that's the ticket. They should get the Cheney treatment.

Weather got hot, and SpaceX update

The heat wave drove me out of the living room into the bedroom, where the a/c is. Crazy high heat index of 117, as of last check.

But I'll soldier on with a few adjustments. Here's a SpaceX update video.

Bus conversion into tiny house

Comment:

I considered doing something like this myself. However, if I had, it wouldn't have been as nice as this...

I looked at two vehicles. Even test drove one of them. But I didn't buy it. Maybe it was a good thing I didn't. I was in way over my head. I tend to do things like that.

There's a couple trailers that I have. The one I'm currently living in, and one I bought way back in 2015. I assembled it a few years ago, but that trailer needs a lot of work to make it into a really tiny home. A thought of doing this again is daunting, even for the little one. I'm just not good at this kinda stuff.

Anyway, here's the video...

Same guys did a trailer...
