The GOP really IS blowing it

There seems to be a questionable election strategy of relying upon Brandon to continue screwing up. The strategy is dependent upon what Brandon does, as opposed to being more aggressive and proactive. Brandon can always manipulate the statistics from the bureaus that he controls. He can relieve pressure on prices by emptying the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. He can create phony scandals involving Trump so that he won't have to talk about his sorry record. But to rely upon a continuing train wreck of an administration to screw up is too passive, and is too easily defeated.

First of all, these "screw ups" aren't screw ups. They are intentional. This administration doesn't give a rat's rear end about the struggles of the people, who have to deal with this Green New Deal. The hardships can be lessened just long enough to get Brandon through the election. Once the Democrats are safely back in office, they can turn the screws on the public again. The price increases for fossil fuels is NO accident. It is NO screw up. It is decidedly intentional. There has been a catastrophic drop in new leases for drilling. This is no accident. This is Green New Deal ultra stupid environmentalist wackoism gone ape doo-doo.

It is also no accident that they went after Trump, while attempting to make Trump the issue. Again, it doesn't matter that it won't work. The point is that it only has to go on long enough to get past the election. You cannot depend upon their "screw ups", if they aren't really screw ups. A completely phony scandal involving paper work can work just as well as a phony Steele dossier.

Instead, the GOP should be speaking as ONE, as opposed to all this infighting. This is giving Democrats heart when they should be in the deepest gloom. The fact of the matter is that if they did their jobs for a change, the GOP could win over a lot more of the Democrat voters. Democrats have to buy gas too. Democrats have to pay their bills too. Nobody wants to eat bugs the way the Green New Dealers would like to force upon them. Not even Democrats would like to eat bugs.

The reason there is a war in Ukraine is this Green New Deal. Putin has done what the Russians have always done. When oil prices are high, they will get aggressive. If oil prices were low, there would be no money for their war in Ukraine. There probably wouldn't be any war at all except for Brandon. The GOP should be hammering away at that, but instead, you've got Bill Barr, Liz Cheney, and Cocaine Mitch helping out the Democrats. What they are doing is an intentional effort to LOSE. Getting a majority is not their intention. Once they manage to lose, they will blame Trump and MAGA.

If Democrats want to run against Trump, make them pay for it. That's because Trump is the best thing the GOP has going for it. Only the GOP specializes at looking a gift horse in the mouth.

The Democrats should pay, but the GOP is blowing it. Big time.

Spitballs

Spitballs

Raring to go here. Got something to say. How to begin? Well, it was something that has happened recently, and maybe something of a revelation, you might say. You see, everybody makes mistakes. It used to be a common phrase, but maybe not so common anymore. People used to say "you're only human". You make mistakes. I make mistakes. Everybody makes mistakes. But people don't talk like that anymore. Especially those in high places. So I got a little story for you. Maybe it is profitable to tell it, and maybe to hear it, so here goes:

There was a thing that happened when I was still pretty young. There was a friend of mine, whose name shall not be mentioned, as is my policy. There was what I thought was a pretty minor event between us. Perhaps I'll give him a false name so as to make it less nebulous. Let's say he was called "Fred". Fred and I were friends. Maybe even really good friends. But something happened. Fred turned against me. This was something of a surprise, and a bit puzzling. What did I do? Well, I knew what it was that I did, but I didn't think it was a big deal. But to him, it was. Well, Fred had run for Student Council just prior, and lost. After he blew up about what I did, he accused me nf not voting for him. I did, but I lied about it. I said I didn't. Why did I do that? I don't know. Maybe I felt that he was demanding something from me that he had no right to demand. But maybe he felt betrayed, or something. Hence, the accusation. I only made it worse. Maybe the friendship could have been salvaged, but after that, I think Fred began to bear a grudge against me. The grudge lasted a long time. I haven't seen or heard of anything from Fred since high school days. For all I know, if Fred is still out there, he is still bearing that grudge. He seemed pretty dead set against me even years after what seemed like such an insignificant event.

The previous story is a bit longer than that, but I want to keep it brief as possible. The point in relaying that story is that Fred carried his grudge a lot further than a mere argument. I think he was saying things against me behind my back. That's what I want to get to. You see, a lot of things like this happen in life. Anybody who has been around awhile might have had a similar experience sometime or other. I mean, who hasn't had a little misunderstanding between friends, eh? But sometimes those misunderstandings can turn into something a bit more than that. And then, some real trouble can begin. I wouldn't say any really big trouble happened with Fred, but something far more serious happened later in life that had nothing to do with Fred. You know where I'm going with this, by the way?

Maybe Fred was diappointed and hurt, and carried things a bit too far. Things like that can happen. I think the moral of this story, if there is one, is that not to let little problems turn into bigger ones. Try to nip something in the bud before it has time to grow and fester into something much bigger and much more serious. Also, don't do anything that you think isn't quite right. Not that I felt like I did anything really wrong towards Fred, but I didn't have to make it worse, don't you know. I feel that I did the right thing except to lie about voting against him. It may have made a difference at that point, who knows?

But I'm telling this story because I want to talk about my childhood. The point is twofold. First, Fred took things too far, and secondly, he went behind my back and started to undermine me. That is the main point I'm trying to get across. Also, that the general principle involved is much bigger than some school yard squabble. Let me seque into the bigger picture. Dan Bongino was talking about this kind of thing yesterday on his show. You see, the things the Democrats are doing to Trump remind me of this school yard squabble of mine. Basically, the Democrats, and their operatives, are throwing "spitballs" at Trump.

Spitballs? This latest business is not a serious investigation of Trump. Neither was the Russia thing. It was a "schoolyard squabble". The Democrats don't have a case, as Bongino is pointing out. Or if Bongino hasn't pointed it out well enough, I hope to add some further insight from personal experience. I do this in hopes of getting people to see this for what it really is.

If it were a really serious investigation, the DOJ wouldn't be leaking to the media. If it were really a matter of national security, they wouldn't be leaking it to the media. If they really wanted to prosecute Trump, they wouldn't be leaking it to the media. That is because Trump would have a real defense against them for prejudicing a potential jury. Look, if Trump really did something wrong, would they have to keep leaking like this? They can only prosecute him successfully if they can prove their case in an open court, with all Trump's rights respected. Also, the jury has to be impartial. How can it be impartial now with what they are doing? This cannot possibly be a serious and honest case. They are trying to hurt Trump, like in a school yard squabble. It is school yard nonsense. It is high school, or even less than high school antics. They are throwing spitballs at Trump.

So they DOJ is actually going to try to appeal this grant of a master to look over the documents. Who knows what they'll find, but I suspect that they'll find that Trump did nothing wrong. The DOJ doesn't want anybody to see what they're doing, because then, perhaps a lot of people will see this as a big nothingburger of a case.

They want to hurt Trump. It is a school yard squabble and they're throwing spitballs. The DOJ is going to get caught and they are going to look bad, but they won't give it up, and act like adults about it. They have no case or they wouldn't be leaking about it. Anybody OUGHT to be able to see that, but evidently a good number of people can't see it, or won't. Time to fess up, people. Things can get a whole lot worse than they are now, and all of this is over archives? Or is this really about something else? Keeping this the way it is only making things worse. It doesn't matter if Trump did anything wrong or not. The main point is that things can really get out of hand. We need some adults in the room to sort this out.

Where does sovereignty come from

With respect to the British monarch's recent passing, it may be time to discuss the idea of where the state's sovereignty resides. With a monarchy, the soveriegnty is in the person who occupies the throne. It is a PERSON. Quite literally, the monarch is the state.

England is said to be a constitutional monarchy. In the case of the UK, the monarch is mostly, if not fully, a ceremonial position. The King or Queen is the head of state. There is no formal power in the monarchy, as was the case in earlier times. The British Parliament holds the real power in England now. However, the monarch is still the head of state, and the sovereignty is symbolized in that person. In earlier times, the British monarch WAS the state.

Not all countries employ this model, of course. What we have in the USA is a model in which "WE THE PEOPLE" are the sovereign. At least on paper. In fact, it may well be the case that the officialdom in power have decided that THEY are the sovereign. But if that were so, why would they need to swear an oath of allegiance to the Constitution? All officials under the US Government have to do this. Is the Constitution the sovereign then? No. A mere document cannot govern. It is a framework for governance of a self-governed people. The US President has real power, like a monarch, but it is LIMITED. The US President is a mere official of state, not the state itself.

Other examples: When Adolf Hitler seized power in Germany, he had officials swear an oath of allegiance to HIM PERSONALLY. The source for this information is from The Rise and Fall of The Third Reich. After gaining this allegiance, Hitler WAS the state for all intents and purposes. Hitler was an usurper. The Weimar Republic, which he swore to overthrow, was certainly achieved with this deed, and the people's submission to him.

A person HAS to govern. A document cannot act. Sovereignty has to proceed from people or a person. In the case the US Constitution, the document is an expression of the will of the people in how they are to be governed. The public official are obliged to follow the law. What happens if they don't? In theory, elections can change the government. But what happens if the officialdom decide that the people are no longer going to be doing that?

To my knowledge, there is no written constitution for the UK. Perhaps they rely upon precedent. It may be said that sovereignty might be shared somewhat. How did the English model change from the pure monarchy to what it is today?

There are many other examples to be sure. Those won't be discussed here, it isn't necessary.

It should also be noted that the intent of the Constitution was to limit the powers of those who govern, as opposed to the other way around. This is more in keeping with the Declaration of Independence, which states that the people have the right to alter or abolish those forms of government which no longer meet their needs. Does that still apply to America?

There is much discussion in some circles about our way (USA) of governance. Perhaps those who are in power have decided for themselves that the people are no longer to be the ones to decide what is and what isn't. It is as if they have grabbed the mantle of sovereignty into their own hands, and now are the ones who rule over us. It may be the case that the USA is no longer a self-governing republic. "WE THE PEOPLE" have had our powers usurped. The Constitution, after all, is just a piece of paper.

Queen Elizabeth and the passing of an era

There was some late news last night, and it was too late to write up a post. I considered a video of "God Save the Queen". Maybe Blogger will allow that, but haven't tried it lately. Embedding a video seems to be a problem these days.

But I stopped when I saw the lyrics to the song. It is shocking how militaristic it is. A comparison to the American patriotic song that uses the same music, which is called "My Country 'Tis of Thee", is quite different. The American version extols liberty whereas the British national anthem extols victory over enemies. But the American version is not the national anthem.

This is the second time I've noted the militarism of national anthems. Critics of the American national anthem cite its lyrics as a glorification of war. Not that I see it that way. It is far less the French or English national anthems. By the way, the French national anthem was the second. Perhaps the noting of criticism of the American one is third.

This allow me to seque into the topic of criticism. Criticism can be dangerous in some regimes, and it may well become dangerous in this country. It has not always been so, but it does seem to be the case now. Criticism of the powers-that-be may well lead to some bad situations soon for a number of folks. I'm not excluded amongst those who may get into some hot water because of that.

But this is a small time blog. Well, that hardly matters in a totalitarian regime. People informed on their neighbors in the Soviet Union. Even the smallest offense could get you into serious trouble.

Criticism here is not meant to be destructive. If anything, if it mattered as to its acceptance as a goodwill gesture to improve, I might even get down on my knees and beg people to please take heed of these things. People should not be too anxious to allow that to happen to our own country. It has not been that way until recently.

Things are happening today that I thought I'd never see in this country. We have people being held for the "crime" of speaking their own minds. That's not how this country was founded, but it may be the direction in which we are headed. That is, unless the trajectory is corrected, that is exactly where we are headed.

Here's a link to the British National anthem.

One more comment on Bongino's show today

That's episode 1847. It can't be embedded at the moment, technical difficulties...

The comment is about a segment of the video, which is around 42:30 into the video.

He said something about "banging their heads against the desk" or something like that. The reason I brought this up is that there was something in an observation that I wanted to make on the blog, and have forgotten about it until just now after listening to this segment.

Here's what I wanted to say: The people who vote for lefties do indeed get their bad outcomes, and when they do, they'll blame it on everybody but themselves. It is really like banging your head on the desk, getting a headache, and blaming other people for why you've got a headache. Bongino might have said that, but I haven't heard it yet on this video. I don't listen every day.

One more thing: It isn't just lefties. All this rah-rah, sis-boom-bah for the GOP is not the ticket either. If you want to get on somebody's donkey for bad things, the GOP could stand a lot of improvement too.

The GOP should be kicking butt right now. Instead, we get certain folks going on the media and talking against the GOP side. Lest anyone think I'm just criticizing them for what I'm doing myself, wait a minute. These guys are supposed to be the OPPOSITION. Yet they won't oppose. They'd rather help the Democrats fight US, the people that put their GOP'er dirtbags into positions of power. They are supposed to be supporting us, not fighting us.

Yeah, and Bongino won't get on their donkeys. He's getting on the other donkeys. But they are the same damned donkeys.

Bongino discusses loss of trust in FBI

On the Bongino show today, he makes a point about trust in the our institutions, in particular the FBI. He said something that caused a light to go on in my head, and I rushed here to write it up in a post. He said the words "magistrate judge". Ka-ching! ( does a light go "ka-ching"? nah! but I like the word anyway.)

You see, there's an argument out there that magistrate judges have no business issuing warrants AT ALL. In this Constitutional system, only Presidents can appoint judges. Magistrate judges are merely assistants to real judges. These guys might as well be paralegals working for real judges.

So you have to ask a question. That is, ask a question besides the one that says whether or not this is a valid point. Maybe there's some legal case history to examine, which isn't my job, but anybody could go over that and verify for themselves if this is highly irregular or not. No, this extra question is this: if the FBI has lost trust in their institution, could it be that they had to go a magistrate judge because a real judge would have thrown this out in a heartbeat? Would this case even exist in a real Constitutional process?

The more you look at it, the worse it is. Dan Bongino asks: Do you really want an FBI like this? A poll said 53 percent of the public said that they don't trust the FBI. This has consequences. One consequence is that they cannot properly do their jobs anymore because public trust has been compromised. A judge can look at their track record and see that there's a problem here. They could say: "Hey you guys: didn't you fake a FISA warrant application with respect to this same guy before?"

The same question could be asked all around. Once you lose the trust, you are going to have a lot harder time getting your job done. Why would you want to destroy that trust? It can come back and bite you if you don't pay heed. This warrant can come back and bite them really hard, and they don't need that right now. Not that I much care about THAT one. The Democrats need to be beaten very badly in this coming election. This is one of the many reasons why.

Off-grid post, 9.8.22

It has been awhile since this subject has been mentioned on this here blog. A review is in order, and an update.

The review is far-ranging in a sense. The sense is in how this idea came to be in the first place. The idea to go off-grid started in earnest back in 2014. It was at that time that I purchased 40 acres in far west Texas. It seemed like a crazy idea at the time. It no longer seems crazy. In fact, it seems like the only rational way to meet the situation developing before our very eyes.

Speaking of crazy, the country is really losing it. Going off to some place in "nowheresville" seems a bit oddball until you consider that the rest of the country may be falling to pieces soon. At the time that I made the decision to purchase the land, the country seemed stable. It no longer appears to be the case anymore. Going to a place in which you are totally responsible for everything is still a huge, huge challenge. It may well be one in which I cannot succeed. But I have to try.

There has been a shift in thinking. What seemed optional now seems imperative. When Bongino talks about an alternative economy, there can be no bigger alternative than to go off-grid. Or off-grid as much as is feasible. If it turns out that I'm wrong, then a price will be paid. But to do nothing could be an even greater mistake. Staying in the comfort zone is precisely the problem. The entire society is hooked on convenience and easy living. The thing that goes along with the ride is the loss of responsibility, accountability, and to put it bluntly, sanity.

Nothing about this will be easy. I've been practicing and practicing and practicing. Most off-grid stuff seems a bit shaky. I'm referring to solar power. There are ways to capture water. There are ways to subsist off the land with what nature provides. There is a way to do agriculture and raising animals. But it all must be started from scratch. There's nothing out there. Nor is there a lot of money to buy things to take along.

There's no telling how much time is left. I don't feel adequately prepared. As long as I've been planning, I still don't have a plan that I've settled on. But a plan is increasingly necessary. One thing is certain. There's less time left than there was 8 years ago.

There are elements of plans and there are techniques. As much as I've learned, there is always more and more, it seems. I learned another way of purifying water yesterday. Water isn't that big an issue anymore. The biggest issue remaining is security. People have disappeared out there. The law is a long way off. Plenty of mischief can occur without anybody knowing it. At my age, a lot of bad things can happen. The list goes on.

No decisions have been made yet. But time marches on, and is growing short. Urgency is rising to the fore.

This country has gone insane

25 per cent of Democrats think men can have babies

A new category: BEAM ME UP SCOTTY

Yes, I read the news today, oh BROTHER. ( It used to be oh boy, like the Beatles song) The striking fact in this news is that 36% of COLLEGE EDUCATED FEMALES seem to think that men can have babies. Say WHAT?! How ya figure?

If you don't know the birds and the bees by the time you are grown up, you are in really bad shape. So here's a news flash for those of you ( not necessarily in Rio Linda): Only those who are female can bear young. That's where we all came from, don't you know. I know it is news in the college educated world, but those are the facts of life that even little kiddies used to know. Mommy and daddy used to tell the little ones these things. You don't need a college for that; just a sane home.

They should be teaching basic biology, which teaches that males have x and y chromosomes and females have two x chromosomes. Only those with two x chromosomes can bear young. Those "adults" are called "women". The rest with the x and y chromosomes are called "men". Novel concept for some of you out there. Little kids used to be able to understand this well enough. It seems to be a challenge today. Even for those said to be "educated".

If you are "college-educated", and if you are one these people who need remedial education, know this: What you are receiving ISN'T education, it is INDOCTRINATION. There are "higher" educational facilities that need to be downgraded to the status of mental institutions. Basic inability to distinguish reality is a mental disease. It is called called INSANITY.

It is rather scary that these people can vote. They need to be sent back to re-educational facilities for proper education, and if they are found to be competent once again, they can take part in society once again. NOT KIDDING.

The preceding has been brought to you as a public service by this here blog. Always ready to help. ( sigh)

Dick Morris says that Trump indictment now unlikely

Morris: Trump indictment unlikely

Let us hope so. For such an indictment cannot lead to a happy ending. Quite the contrary, in my opinion.

There is a question about what happens next. If the DOJ continues to push this, then it may well be appealed. It is possible that they may win that appeal, which in turn could be appealed all the way to the Supreme Court. It would seem that Constitutional issues are at stake here. It is also unprecedented, so that would seem to indicate some type of ruling. There was something said elsewhere about "standing". The use of that seems quite the cop-out in the past, and if it should come to that again, it would be the ultimate cop-out. The integrity of the system is at stake.

Morris does a good job in discussing what the issues were. But there could be more to it than that. This wasn't just a case of super-zealous prosecutorial overreach, it may well be a case of whether or not the people can be expected to govern themselves. Certainly, things have gotten out of control. Sanity has to be restored somehow. There is no balance and thoughtfulness being brought to bear, until this ruling.

People need to step back and think about what they're doing. We have only one home, and this is our home that we're talking about here. Be careful lest you burn it down.

Bongino Show, episode 1845, 9-6-22

"War on MAGA" lefty video

If Brandon's speech about "semi-fascists" isn't what he meant, then what does this video mean? At about 41 minutes into the Bongino's video, Roland Marvin says that they are at war with the people who have allowed Trump into their homes. That would mean MAGA Republicans, would it not? He says that WE are evil and this means war. That's what he says.

The entire show is worth listening to. But it cannot be embedded here for some reason. Youtube has already cancelled Bongino, so he uses Rumble. If you want to embed, using Rumble's embed code, it doesn't work on blogger anymore. Why? What changed? There are several videos here from Rumble. In an earlier time, Google may be in trouble for anti- competitive monopolistic behavior. But there is no accountability anymore.

So here's the link for as long as Google allows it .

Finally, it should be noted here that there have been more than one instance on this blog that said that these people are at war with this culture. Here's the proof of it. In times past, this was hidden. But now it is in plain sight. Take heed and act accordingly.

The beatings will continue until morale improves

On Bongino's show today, he is saying "the beatings will continue until morale improves". He goes on to say that the liberal media will not hold the liberals accountable for their bad policies. The bad policies lead to bad outcomes, and the left tries to blame it on somebody else ( meaning the GOP) when it is really their own fault. The media never holds them accountable, so the people suffer. Hence, the "beatings" that people have to take because there is no accountability.

So, here's my take on this. Of course, Bongino is correct. Bongino won't hold the Establishment accountable though. Neither do the voters. It is the Establishment GOP that enables these policies that the Democrats don't get held accountable for. For some strange reason, the Establishment GOP keeps getting into power all too many times. They have a lot of nerve to insist upon trying again. They have even more nerve to blame MAGA voters for bad outcomes.

The use of the term "right" ( here I go again), just plays into that. In using this Marxist terminology, the GOP always has an "out". They can always say: It's those "other guys". Problem is, the GOP doesn't do much to stop the Democrats. If they try, they get labelled "extremist". Attach the word "right" to "extremist", and you get the fascist label. Brandon can say whatever he wants, but he called Trump voters "semi-fascist". He did do that. But in refusing to oppose Democrats, they are captured by Democrats. It is almost as if they have Stockholm Syndrome, where the captured start identifying with the captors. Does that sound familiar? Cheney could be a Democrat with the way she talks nowadays. Same with a lot of these folks on the Establishment side. But Trump is vilified because he fights back. Somehow, it just isn't "nice" to talk back at the Democrats.

All of a sudden, nobody can fight back. You know what happened before. There was this guy named Goldwater, and he tried that. But he lost the election by a landslide because he was ready to blow up the world. ( So the ad seemed to claim with the mushroom cloud.) "In your heart, you know he's right", said the Goldwater Ads. But the response was "In your guts, you know he's nuts." When Reagan came along, Gerald Ford said America wouldn't elect such a conservative candidate. But Ford was wrong. Reagan DID fight back. Watch some of his speeches on video. He fought back. Don't believe that it was all smiles and goodie-two-shoes. There was steel to that guy.

We don't have accountability because there's nobody holding the Democrats accountable for their bad policies. The Establishment hides behind the "extremist" defense. But they are refusing to engage the Democrats in some honest policy debate. Instead, they hop on the Democrat bandwagon, and try to destroy a guy who really is. That would be Trump. It would also be Goldwater.

Trump is too abrasive they say. It's just another excuse. If there's one thing that this country still produces, and that is a mountain of excuses.

Democracy means holding the people in charge accountable. If there's no accountability at the ballot box, then how can there be any "democracy"?

There wasn't a democracy in ancient Rome. If the legions lost, they'd practice "decimation". One in ten of the soldiers would be killed. Beatings would ensue until morale improved. Do people really want that to happen here and now? It is happening because people are actually willing to vote for people who are destroying their lives.

Cannot confirm or deny from Rubin, with respect to the tweet

How would anybody confirm or deny a story? Maybe go to the source? With respect to Jennifer Rubin, the columnist for the Washington Post, there isn't much to go on. With respect to the alleged tweet ( that may have been fake and the fake said it was deleted), there isn't much way to do it without going on Twitter. Not a possibility for yours truly, so that won't be done. So, I went to her spot on the Post.

No mention of that that I can see. But there are things there. One thing I saw there was that she claims that Biden's attack speech is working.

There wasn't much to read. But from what I read, she is claiming that Biden wasn't attacking the 71 million Trump voters. He did say that MAGA doesn't represent the majority of the GOP. Maybe not in Congress, but the general public, in the rank and file of the party, Trump has the majority at this time.

She claims it is working because of the reaction to the speech. In order to judge that, I would have to subscribe to the Post, which I won't.

Nice arrangement there. She can say provocative things, but you cannot check it out without giving her the "time of day".

She still sounds disloyal to me. Nothing changed there.

Was Rubin's tweet a fake?

There is some news out there that Rubin's tweet wasn't a real tweet. If that is so, then my information was incorrect. As always, corrections go front row and center on this blog.

But that hasn't been confirmed. The information I got was mentioned in an earlier post. I've seen it nowhere else. If that source was at fault, then they aren't reliable. Hopefully, I can avoid that for this blog.

The truth is that I didn't see it on Twitter because I don't use Twitter anymore. This is what you call "hearsay". You know, the kind of evidence that gets used a lot to bash Trump.

That doesn't release Rubin from the pejorative word I used in the previous post. She and others like to wear their disloyalty like a crown.

If that estimation proves wrong, I will correct it. That one will stand. As for the tweet, if it is fake, then I was deceived. My apologies for not being more thorough, and getting confirmation.

Cheney, Rubin et. al are NOT cuckolds

It is amazing that in this business of communicating ideas, that people are not more careful about the words that they use. One example of that has been mentioned ad nauseum on this blog. Sure, it is quite repetitious, but evidently people aren't getting the message, or won't get the message about using the word "right" in reference to themselves.

It is not restricted to that. Just now, I have become aware of ANOTHER word which is being misused. I can name names, but won't. However, there is at least one blogger who uses the word "cuck" in reference to the unfaithful GOP party members that join the other side. Look up the word cuckold, and you'll find that it is the husband of an adulterous wife. ( females can also be victimized thusly, and that word is slightly different) Hence, those who commit the betrayal aren't the cucks, the ones who are cucks are the dudes whose "wife" have been disloyal.

The word "cuck" is used intentionally to heap scorn. The man who can't keep his wife is line is to be disrespected. Okay, with that understanding, the likes of Cheney et al, does not apply to THEM, but to US. That puts it in a different light then. Nobody wants to be seen as a "cuck".

The "old lady" is screwing around and we just sit there and take it. Again and again and again.

Hey, if you don't use the right word, your brain is scrambled. Get your minds right, dudes. We got to get our house in order. But everybody should have known that already. The ones that betray us are wearing their betrayal like a crown. Well, they do DESERVE scorn, but that is not the proper word to use.

They are the ones who betray. An example would be Judas Iscariot. Another example is Benedict Arnold.

Benedict Arnold wasn't celebrated in England, by the way. Neither will Cheney and others be celebrated. Nobody likes a fink. I like to look up my word I use. Fink has many shades of meaning. Someone who betrays a trust is a fink, according to one of the shades of meaning of that word. These people are finks, not "cucks". Another word is "rat". But "ratting one out" is usually reserved for those who fink out on a fellow criminal. We don't want to use that word either. Fink is better. Or traitor, but traitor has a conflict. We are loyal to the Contitution, but a party member should also be loyal to the organization. If the organization has no cohesion, then what good is it?

They'll try to assume the mantle of superiority, but that won't hold. They serve neither the Constitution, the rule of law, "democracy", or anything else. They serve themselves alone. They are finks, which also has the meaning of a contemptible person.

Jennifer Rubin: Mass arrests should come next

Comment:

Funny thing here. Note that the pic says that the tweet has been deleted. Why not apologize for the tweet, as opposed to merely deleting it? Not only an apology, but making it good. Admission of the error is not the same as merely deleting it. Deleting it only covers it up. It can be denied later. If a top-of-the-page type mea culpa and apology accompanied it, then it would be more acceptable. For Brandon denied saying what he clearly said. He should apologize also. This kind of talk is dangerous, and unacceptable for people in responsible positions.

But finding the "liberal hivemind" channel where it is located now is a bit of a problem. That channel puts out a lot of videos, and it can get lost in the crowd.

However, I DID SEE IT ORIGINALLY. So, I'm sure that it is geniune. It would not be a surprise if the denials come later after the furor goes down. Or a claim that it is all being made up.

Why didn't I post it if I saw it earlier? Only because I dismissed it like I usually do. However, as noted previously, dismissing this kind of thing isn't good enough. This calls for some kind of response. Keeping it alive for as long as possible is one way to keep them from sweeping it under the rug, and then pretending that it never happened. But it did.

It could all be a matter of class snobbery

There's a lot of pearl-clutching over the MAGA Republicans these days. Not only from our good friends on the Democrat side, but some of those who are supposedly on the GOP side.

You know that Brandon knows what side his bread is buttered on. They are made for each other. Like attracts like, and these phony baloneys belong together. Without MAGA though, the GOP Establishment snobs are nowheresville.

They are schmoozing with Brandon these days, but there was a time when they were in bad odor with the lefty brood. There was a time when they wanted to impeach Bush, but it was called off for some strange reason. Seems like they were saying that "Bush lied and people died". The neo-cons and Brandon are tight these days. It has been said that Brandon's red speech was tailored for his "conservative" buddies. But the neo-cons aren't really conservative. They like to pretend as much as Corn Pop does.

The corn was popping pretty good with all the red color coordination going on. It was a hot time in the old town that night. You'd think the place was on fire with all that red shifting taking place. But Brandon was stumbling and bumbling, and was anything but being on fire. It was a grand pretension while it lasted. Kinda like plagiarizing a speech once upon a time.

There's this neo-con called David French, you see. A little research on the dude brings up such acquaintances as the Weakly Standard and the Atlantic. These guys would give Joey a run for his money when it comes to phoney baloney plastic banana neo-con bravo sierra. French plays pretend conservatron, but why would a conservative ever dream of writing for the Atlantic? Only a phoney baloney would do that.

People would prefer the real thing. Democrats won't vote for the Cheney's or the Bush's. But the Cheney's and the Bush's get SOMETHING out of it. Or why do it?

It must be the sense of superiority over the working class that gives them their rush. It gives them some sense of belonging even if their sponsors wouldn't give them the time of day once it mattered. The middle class tends to vote GOP, not Democrat. The country clubbers like to look down on the lower classes with disdain. They think they are better than the people who put them in office. So they say what they have to ( such as "read my lips") in order to fool the hoi-polloi that they so often disdain, but need. Trump comes along and spoils it all for them. Boo-hoo!

Here is a thought for you

How the Marxist paradigm is being applied to the political situation now in the USA.

The dialectic of left-right-middle is the tool to marginalize any opposition. Anybody who identifies with this model, and identifies themselves as on the right, is vulnerable to being called extremist. If a person has already identified themselves as on the right, the label of "extremist" applied to the already admitted to position, is morphed into "fascist". See how that works? Brandon just did it by calling MAGA as semi-fascist.

As applied to the GOP, and those identifying with the Establishment, they get protection from this. All they have to do is to disavow any approval of the "extremists" who are in dissent. In this way, no meaningful opposition is possible. Only those who conform to the "middle" can be acceptable.

Simply being in the middle doesn't guarantee reasonableness nor truth. It simply makes any opposition to the left impossible, because to do so gets a label of extremist attached to the already admitted right. Opposition does not make you a fascist, for heaven's sake. But that is what the politicians would have you believe.

So Brandon identifies the MAGA wing of the GOP as extremists and "semi-fascists". All of this for voting for Donald Trump? All of this for disagreeing with them?

The dialectic used this way is made for the Marxists. They can get submission to their demands and policy proposals, and anybody who disagrees is a fascist. No wonder they win.

The Establishment wing of the GOP is in cahoots with the same wing of the Democrats. They cannot have any meaningful dissent. Instead, the GOP Establishment will pretend to oppose the Democrats, and refuse to condemn the obvious partisanship of the Democrats. They will pretend so as to avoid being called "extremists" and continue being puppets of the Democrats. Such an arrangement describes the political situation in the USA now. It is effectively a one-party state masquerading as a two-party state. No dissent is welcome, and may well be treated as sedition. No opposition to the left should call themselves "right". It sets you up for a well placed javelin in the form of an accusation of fascism. Calling yourselves a rightist is like painting a bullseye over your heart.

Brandon's speech, continued

It is a bit understandable that one would want to turn away from something unpleasant. Such is Brandon's speech. There is something quite hateful about it, which is what makes it unpleasant. There are those who noted the anger in the speech. That is part of it. Another part is the falseness of it. The entire spectacle is a basket of fraud. It cries out for protest. Silence is not the way to address this.

Let's start with the setting. In Philadelphia, in front of the site where the Constitution was written. Also the town most associated with liberty. It is where the Declaration of Independence was signed and proclaimed to the world. 'Tis the birthplace of freedom. But freedom is not what this speech was about. It was about the very opposite of its claimed purpose. It was not an affirmation of freedom, but an intention to enslave.

According to the Declaration of Independence, governments are instituted among men in order to secure the rights of the people to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. The powers are granted in accordance to consent of the governed ( as opposed to ruled). Also, that if such government becomes destructive of these ends, the right of the people is to alter it or abolish it. We have elections for that purpose. To ask questions of an election is not to deny the election process itself. To demand integrity is hardly a seditious proposition, if such was being sought with Brandon's address.

It is this very thing that is being denied. Not to mention, the First Amendment to the US Constitution, which established by law the right to redress grievances. It DOES NOT say that governments should punish the people when they peaceably assemble for such redress of grievances. To punish people for the same is to violate the founding principles of the nation. Is such being done? Brandon alleged so, but the reaction of Brandon and his sychophantic followers is that to do so amounts to sedition and insurrection. Indeed, there was a riot on January 6th, 2021. But it is also true that ordinary unarmed citizens have been charged with "trespass" for doing no more than walking inside the Capitol Building. That is not in the spirit of the Declaration and the Constitution. Indeed, it is itself a violation of the law.

People have been held without bail for over a year, under terrible conditions. It cannot be other than to extract confessions under the threat of continual punishment. Is this the "freedom" that is being affirmed by Brandon and his crew? On what authority do they have to do this? Clearly, it is not in accordance with the Constitution. The Bill of Rights guarantees the right to a speedy and impartial trial by a jury of the accused peers.

Brandon claims that MAGA Republicans are a "threat". A threat to do what? Redressing their harms, which is in accordance with the law, and having that turned on its head, and called Insurrection? King George III did the same thing as Brandon has done to MAGA Republicans. Yet here is Brandon claiming the mantle of freedom fighter? This is a lie. It is even The Big Lie. Yet Brandon himself is accusing MAGA Republicans of being the liars. Is anything that is written here, or having been claimed, been fully examined for its truthfulness? There are "fact checkers", whose job is to confirm only what Brandon and Company want to believe. "Fact checkers" as a term, is also a lie.

The January 6th committee was not set up to impartially examine evidence and come to a reasoned conclusion as to what caused the riot in the Capitol; which was called an Insurrection. Instead, it is a political show trial intended to be used as a political hammer to destroy the loyal opposition. Is that how we do things now in this country? Such was not intended neither by the Constitution nor the Declaration of Independence. The entire spectacle was Orwellian. It was doublespeak, where truth is a lie, and a lie is claimed to be truth. To remain silent in the face of this evil is to deny freedom, as opposed to affirming it. It is as if the ghost of George III was delivering that speech, as opposed to George Washington.
