With respect to the Rossi Test today, 10/28/11

Not much to say.  I got Rossi's report off his website.  There are a few jpg pics and a spreadsheet file.  So, I checked out the spreadsheet.  My computer can't handle the data, evidently.  Or not all of it.  At any rate, all I can tell is that the temperature went up to boiling point and slightly above and stayed there for several hours.  This doesn't yield much data for analysis.  There may have been more though, but this is all I can get.  I am waiting to see if anybody out there has more to say.  So far, nothing.

Update: 10/29/11  7:48 am

There are now plenty of reports of the test.  It appears from the reports that it has been successful.  However, the data is still not in a form that my computer will accept totally.  It is giving me an error report.  Evidently, I need Excel, which I don't have.  Microsoft's Works won't get it all.

Unless there's something in the data which I can't access as of now, I don't believe this is going to shut up the "seagulls".   They will still squawk about this.  From where I'm standing, I can't say anything to answer them.  There's not enough data.

A sale was made.  I suppose congratulations are in order.  But, as an independent person, I am not convinced of much by this test.  Sorry.

Update 2: 10/29/11 11:45 am

I've managed to find an Excel viewer and this is what I couldn't load up.

Again, there's nothing here.  The only thing that appears to have been accomplished is that Rossi has sold this unit.  It is not scientific proof at all.  But, that is probably no concern to Rossi.  Just the same, I'd like to have more data.

From 7 Billion People To 500 Million People – The Sick Population Control Agenda Of The Global Elite

From 7 Billion People To 500 Million People – The Sick Population Control Agenda Of The Global Elite

excerpts:
  • United Nations is once again declaring that there are way too many people on the planet and that we need to take more direct measures to reduce fertility
  • In fact, it surely is no accident that the United Nations put 7 Billion Day on the exact same day as Halloween.
  • they believe that the earth should only have 500 million people (or less)
  • They tend to use terms such as "sustainable development" and "reduction of fertility rates" and "quality of life" when discussing the need to reduce our population.
  • There has been tremendous human suffering all throughout history. If we eliminated 90 percent of the global population it would not suddenly usher in some kind of "golden age".
  • Due to public opinion, population control advocates have to tread lightly in the western world.
  • The elite love to use terms such as "fertility management" and "family planning", but what they really intend is for there to be less pregnancies and more abortions so that the population will not grow as quickly.
  • Unfortunately, this agenda is even represented in the highest levels of our own government.
  • When you believe that the earth has way too many people, human life becomes cheap, and abortion becomes a way to get rid of undesirables.
  • They actually believe that they are smarter than all of the rest of us and that they need to tell us what to do for the good of humanity and for the good of the planet.

This patronizing approach should truly sicken all freedom-loving Americans.
Ordinary folks look up to these people, yet how would they feel about these folks if their true intentions toward the working classes is known for what it is?

Race to Mine the Moon Heats Up

Didn't know that there was a race. I've been in favor of this idea since I first learned about the opportunity.

Rush Limbaugh likes to say that he is on the cutting edge of societal evolution.  If I may brag a little, I think I know what that must feel like now.  Mining the moon is cutting edge stuff.  So is the E-cat.  And I am in on the cutting edge.

How 'bout that?

Enhanced Dragon capsule begins launch preparations

Spaceflight Now | Breaking News

excerpts:
  • The gumdrop-shaped capsule was trucked cross-country from Hawthorne, Calif
  • It arrived Sunday at the SpaceX hangar in Cape Canaveral.
  • Other new systems on the upcoming flight include the hatch, a bay door housing the craft's grapple fixture, and a claw that provides electrical and data connections between the capsule and its trunk, or service module, Musk told Congress on Wednesday.
  • Liftoff of the next Dragon is scheduled aboard a Falcon 9 rocket for no earlier than Dec. 19
  • officials agreed to combine the second and third demos, known as Dragon C2 and C3, into a single mission

SpaceX: We Need NASA to Change Crew Contracts

excerpts:
  • "We may not bid on it," SpaceX founder Elon Musk said. However he is increasingly optimistic that the agency will change some of the rules that dictate the design.
  • As Popular Mechanics reported last week, this early version of the contract allows NASA to exert more control over the hardware design than many in the industry are comfortable with.
  • That is a big deal, considering the contract is fixed-price.
  • What is clear, the companies say, is that the timeline in NASA’s contract is too slow—all the players told Congress they could launch by 2015, while the NASA contract states a 2017 flight date.

The Fusion Torch

Bill Gough and George Miley present the 'Fusion Torch'
Uploaded by dreabadea

A proposal to clean up pollution with plasma. I've seen something like this already in use somewhere, but I can't remember where.

This could be done without fusion, but could be done better with fusion technology. It is my opinion that it could be possible to do many more things than is possible now if there was enough energy. Cleaning up pollution would be one.

The SuperWave™ Fusion Process

Uploaded by nofunclub Apr 23, 2009

Not exactly a new video, but I wanted to point out the "Wave" aspect of this process. It seems that waves have a significance in cold fusion. As a collective excitation, could they become bosons and form a BEC?

This video doesn't claim that, however.  Now, if the collective excitation does become a BEC, it could explain the ability to cross the coulomb barrier and fuse.

Tyranny of the Majority

Robert Ringer

Tyranny of the Majority

by Robert Ringer

Monday, October 24, 2011

As liberals go, I actually had a touch of like for Joltin Joe Biden in his Senate days. But since he got in bed with the Marxists in the Executive Branch, it’s become increasingly difficult to give him a pass. Even so, I feel compelled to cut Joe some slack by blaming his maniacal remarks on mitigating circumstances — the fact that he’s a bona fide idiot.

Thus, when the Delaware Dimwit said that paying taxes is the most patriotic thing an already overtaxed American citizen can do, it wasn’t out of malice. Truth be known, I don’t believe he has any idea why he says such things. As near as I can tell, he simply appears to be on progressive autopilot.

Now Biden wants to increase the national debt even more by insisting that Congress pass the latest mini-stimulus, warning that if it doesn’t, there won’t be enough police to prevent rapes and robberies. Hmm … how weird. Offhand, I can’t recall a single instance where a law enforcement officer prevented a rape or robbery … but, hey, there’s always a first time.

In any event, whether nonsensical statements like this are the result of stupidity, lack of knowledge, or malevolence, be prepared for them to come at you in torrents over the next twelve months. With Republican presidential candidates taking bites out of each others’ arms, imagine what it’s going to be like when the Democrats take aim at the Republicans’ soon-to-be-known compromise candidate, whomever that might be.

The question no Republican seems interested in asking is: What gives any elected official the authority to increase taxes on American citizens whenever he has an urge to hand money to selected groups of his choosing? The Constitution doesn’t say that it’s the duty of the American citizen to play the role of a docile cow waiting to be milked whenever politicians decide they need more money.

One of the Democrats’ favorite new talking points is that recent polls show that 80 percent of Americans favor a new tax on millionaires and billionaires. Gosh, really? I would never have thought the average person would favor taxing America’s wealthiest citizens. Duh … of course most people would like to see a tax on someone other than themselves! Why not, so long as the government doesn’t tax them.

But, guess what. The Founding Fathers set up the rules of the game in such a way as to specifically prevent America from becoming a tyranny-of-the-majority nation. Which is why polling questions about increasing taxes are irrelevant. Every person on this earth has unlimited desires, but those desires don’t give him a claim on the assets of others.

Lest anyone forget, America is supposed to be a republic. And in a true republic, the fact that 80 percent of the population favors committing aggression against a minority — including the minority of people who are the most financially successful — should carry no weight when it comes to legislation.

The fact is that majority rule violates the rights of others if it forces them to go along with actions with which they do not agree. Progressives would like us to believe that majority rule is morally virtuous. The reality, however, is that majority rule is moral cannibalism, because it makes it possible for one group of people, simply by being in the majority, to do whatever it wishes to those in the minority. In fact, theoretically speaking, majority rule could validate literal cannibalism!

The basic premise of majority rule is that good is defined as “that which is best for the greatest number of people.” Such a premise, however, is so vague as to be meaningless. Every individual has a unique set of circumstances, unique needs and desires, unique personality traits, unique fears, and unique ambitions.

And it is each person’s uniqueness that dictates which actions are best for him. That’s why progressive terms such as social justice and the common good are nothing more than red herrings.

The same moral logic holds true for corporations, since they are the property of individuals, often large numbers of individuals. But some folks in Lynchburg, Tennessee don’t see it that way. Charles Rogers, a 75-year-old retiree and self-described “concerned citizen” of Moore County, where distillery giant Jack Daniel’s is located, recently created a stir when he said, “We are entitled [my emphasis] to more money from the only industry in the county — Jack Daniel’s distillery.”

To which Tommy Beam, general manager of Jack Daniel’s, responded, “That’s not free enterprise and that’s not what this country was built on. I saw a quote the other day that said that a person used to look at a successful person and say, ‘Now, what do I have to do to become like that?’ Whereas now they might look at him and say, ‘What can I do to get what they’ve got?’”

Well said. Nevertheless, the Moore County Council passed a measure asking the Tennessee Assembly for enabling legislation to put the question of a per-barrel tax on Jack Daniel’s whiskey on the ballot. That’s right, the entitlement crowd in Moore County is coming after its number-one benefactor, Jack Daniel’s, the company that put Lynchburg on the map over the past century.

It’s a classic case of tyranny of the majority. Forget the fact that Jack Daniel’s is by far the biggest employer in Moore County. Forget the fact that it’s a magnet that draws 250,000 tourists (who spend money!) each year to Lynchburg. Forget the fact that the company already pays 60 percent of the price of a bottle of whiskey in taxes.

Clearly, the class-warfare battle-cry in the hinterlands is pretty much the same as it is 900 miles to the more sophisticated northeast in the Occupy Wall Street protest: “I want more, so you have to give it to me.” Sounds rational to me.

Move over Greece, here we come.

excerpt:
the latest generation of TEGs installed in the exhaust are capable of generating 600 watts of electrical power, and it will not be long before the goal of 1,000 watts is reached as research progresses
Comment:

Given that the E-cat produces heat, but not electricity, wouldn't it be useful to make use of that heat in some way?  Perhaps this automotive technology could be adapted to work with the E-cat, or some other method could be employed.  The point is, with the heat production now generated by the E-cat, some electricity can be generated with technology now available.

But I'm seeing numbers like 5 to 10 percent, which is not so great.  For example, if the E-cat produces 1 MW of heat, you could only get 100 kilowatts of electricity out of it.  This needs to get a lot better.

A Stirling solar dish can get about 30%.   But that uses concentrated solar power with temperatures over 1000 degrees Centigrade.  The E-cat doesn't get that hot.

Like, wow, man.

A comparison is being made between the OWS and this Star Trek episode.  You know, I recognize that guy playing that instrument and singing.

Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin

I saw that for the first time in a Robert Heinlein novel. Don't remember which one, that was many, many years ago.

It has come to mean the common phrase- "The writing is on the wall." This is to say that it spells doom for somebody. I've seen that phrase used on stock bulletin boards during the heyday of the dot com boom. I vividly remember that it indeed spelled doom for a particular stock that I was trading- which left a deep hole in my pocket book, and an indelible memory.

Doom is a rather strong word, but it is useful as a metaphor. A metaphor for a dying company, or a dying way of life.

You may have guessed what I'm leading up to- that's the impact of the E-cat. If you've been reading my stuff, you know that I believe in it by now. If I believe in it, it must mean that I also believe that a host of consequences must occur in the near future. Among these is the "doom" of the oil companies.

There are those who will feel no pity. After all, the oil companies are the bane of the ecologists' existence. Oil is dirty. It causes pollution. It is the reason nations go to war.

But I remember the mid eighties in Houston. Oil prices plunged and Houston's economy suffered for it. I'd hate to see that happen again. But it may be unavoidable. Mene mene tekel upharsin. The writing is on the wall. The E-cat is coming.

Cold Fusion Enigma, Secrets Remain--- Fleischmann Pons IV

In the last post of this series, I mentioned the fact that the video Fire from Water was worth watching again and again.  It so happens that Miley was in that video, in which is shown from a screenshot here:

As before, you can learn a lot from that video by watching.  Anyway, since Miley recently mentions Patterson in connection with Rossi- while Patterson's work was also mentioned in the video as well.
CETI power cell
But my most recent post, Dr. Les Case figures in this.  It seems that Case had a way to sustain a certain temperature, but what if that device could be improved upon somehow?  That's the idea I got by watching this video again.  Case says in the video that his device could hold 215 degree Centigrade.  Is that hot enough? What if you could make it hotter?

If you were to have Case's device plus a nickel hydrogen device combined, the cell could get hotter than this, or so I postulate.

I recall the Brillouin Energy device described by Godes.  This obviously produces energy, but what if it isn't enough to keep it self sustaining.  Now, if you were to combine both, they could both sustain each other.

Another thing I found was mentioned by Edmund Storms where he says that the sonic device will load the hydrogen in the metal better.

And that one of the cold fusion techniques used involves the use of ultra sound.  That could be the "Q" that Godes refers to.

Now, if you were to combine all these, you can get a device that produces enough heat to sustain itself.

There's but one more thing to be mastered, if my hypothesis is correct.  Rossi needs to produce just enough electricity to run his "frequency" input so as to have absolutely no energy input while producing the heat output demonstrated on Oct 6th.

Furthermore, Rossi's device could produce enough electricity to run something like a light bulb continuously for days on end, that should remove all doubt that may remain about its efficacy.
