I think Lani Guinier wanted to give more than one vote to minorities. That's what made her controversial. It might be a good way to get certain voters to like it, but it should not have wide appeal. But we'll see. That was early 90's, and this is 30 years later. Bill Clinton masqueraded as a moderate, but his early days as President was not that. The GOP won the Congress for the first time in 40 plus years because of heavy liberalism. But perhaps things has changed after 30 years, eh?

That's the way I feel about THIS country

This is about the situation in the UK, but there's no relief in coming HERE to the USA. We might not be as far down that path, but we are definitely getting there.

When are people going to understand that the media is an enemy? There's really no excuse for watching the legacy media anymore. They are enemies, plain and simple.

It sounds like the subjugation of the UK is complete. The USA isn't far behind.

AI is dangerous

Bongino talks quite a bit about how the commies are afraid of AI.

AI can be used for the opposite of what Bongino seems to think about AI. He thinks AI will show the commies for what they are. To the contrary. I think AI will show exactly the opposite. It will become impossible to get the truth about anything.

AI is dangerous because it is too convenient for people to over-rely upon something to do work they should do themselves. You should do your own thinking. But AI threatens to have computers do your thinking for you.

There's not much excuse these days to be deceived by the commies. Yet, some people still watch the legacy media. Just think of how well we will be deceived if all we know is what the communist controlled AI will allow us to see. That is what will happen if the AI controls what the media will show.

Bongino is way too optimistic about AI. People already check their brains in at the door. It's just going to get worse when AI gets entrenched. People will forget how to think, and human kind might just go completely idiotic.

I like Bongino, but I think he's off the rails here. AI could be put to good use or evil. The path we are on, it is most likely that it will be the latter.

Since when did we need their permission?

If it is a democracy, then the people decide. This sounds like somebody decides, and we must rubber stamp it.

This reminded me of a scene from John Wayne's movie The Alamo. I looked for a scene, which was about Emil Sande, who was trying to force Flacca into marrying him. Instead, I find these deleted scenes. The line I remember is how Sande said that he would make himself acceptable to whoever is in power. These scenes show Emil Sande's end at the hands of Davy Crockett ( John Wayne).

The Emil Sande types is what Weinstein refers to in the above tweet, with his description of our current power structure. Only the acceptable types are "allowed". Democracy, then, is a fake.

That is what the censorship is intended for, to hide that fact. The "leaders" are a bunch of Emil Sande types that make themselves acceptable to the power structure.

Institutional inertia

First, let's start with this video. It should be devastating. But these are not normal times, so it may not have the impact that it should. Watch this video, then read on...







All of what this man says, which is basically that Kamala Harris has no merit, will probably not register with a lot of people. Their likely reaction would be something like racism or misogyny. These are substitutes for merit. If she wins, then merit is dead in this society. That is the fatal flaw of commmunism. It destroys merit. If everyone is equal, then what it the point of striving?

Here's another thought that makes up the title. The above attitude has permeated our culture so deeply that people cannot recognize the obvious anymore. For example, there was a documentary about the recent assassination attempt on Trump. Someone noted the heavy preponderance of female agents, and that they were too small to protect Trump. So the question was put before a former agent and female about it, and she says she won't play a "numbers game". The obvious thing here is that the mission of protecting someone comes in second to furthering social goals ( of female equality).

The mission is no longer the mission. Merit is thrown out the window. So that's the new measuring stick for societal competence? How many women are on protective detail? But what if they can't do the job? If a smallish woman cannot cover the protectee because she is TOO SMALL, then what happened to the mission? It has become impossible for these people to recognize the obvious. That attitude has thoroughly permeated the mindset of apparently seemingly competent people like this female agent. She protects her own institution above the former priority of protecting the president of the United States even at the expense of their own lives. This country has lost the plot.

As I mentioned yesterday, this reaction seems emotional. What is driving this emotion? Is it feigned outrage at Trump for "politicizing" it, or is there another explanation? Democrats cannot be honest about anything, and this is not likely any exception. Whatever the "outrage" is, it isn't about their concern over those that died on their watch.

Democrats think that they are better. So the "outrage" is the gall to criticize them or challenge them. They have the lordly right to command, don't you know.

If it isn't hurting them at the polls, then this could be an emotional reaction. Either way, it doesn't look good for them. It drew them out. Trump can make them react in ways that don't help them.

So the Dems come back with an attack on Trump for Arlington. But the two of them, Biden and Harris, were invited. They didn't respond. Their attacks cover up for this and try to make a political issue out of Trump's responding. It should ring hollow, but you never know. My hunch is that it is hurting them, or why bother with this line of attack?
