Change of opinion
Things change, and so do opinions. With respect to computers and the internet, I used to think they were good things. Not so much anymore. There is just way too much mischief that can happen inside that black box.
As for the internet, it looks to be the greatest spy invention ever conceived. People are letting these things into their homes, and the thing spies on you. It does this relentlessly. It is no accident that the leftward dive into the dumpster is happening at the same time that computers have become so powerful.
Sorry to relate this info. There is just not that much good going on anymore.

Trashy investigation
Something I read just now tickled my funny bone. A tape of the conversation between then President Trump and Georgia Secretary of State Raffensperger was found in the trash folder of an INVESTIGATOR.
What a joke. What was the INVESTIGATOR investigating? It looks like he was the opposite of an investigator to me.
The media cannot be trusted, but we all should have known that already. In fact, I am sure that the MAJORITY of the public DID NOT VOTE for Biden. It was a stolen election.
But it doesn't matter now, I suppose.

A "warped" idea that might really work
Nobody knows how to "beam us up, Scotty" yet, but a warp-drive may be possible sooner than thought possible. It seems that it won't require technology way beyond our means, so it could be feasible.
But hold your horses. They aren't there yet. It still requires an astronomical amount of energy, but that could be fixable. If not, still no luck. However, if it is fixable, then proto-types could be built.
The new theories rely upon a concept called "solitons", which can be reproduced without "exotic" forms of energy. Even with this concept, it stlll takes a lot of energy. The fixable part depends on whether or not theoretical energy savings can work within this new soliton framework.
If so, trips to the stars can be feasible. So, Scotty, "warp us outta here"!

What a joke
It looks like everything really is turning to garbage. I have an uglier word, but I am trying to restrain myself from using a four letter word starting with "s" and ending with "t".
You cannot find a straight answer to a simple question, such as "How many people died in the USA in 2020?" I tried that and failed to get a satisfactory answer. Everything is now reduced to propaganda.
The information reported here on that question showed little change from year-to-year, but it is being reported hysterically that new records for mortality were set last year. I have to call "Barbra Streisand" on that one. The reportage in this country just isn't reliable. But that now includes search engine results. No straight answers.
It goes with Jen Psaki's failure to answer a simple question, which I wrote about yesterday. We cannot get answers anymore from the government nor from private sector, if one remains.
The truth is being suppressed. My question is this: "Was there more deaths in the USA last year or not?" I am beginning to think that there really wasn't, but the news is being reported otherwise. It's a joke.
