Bongino mentions Boreing

Bongino mentioned Jeremy Boreing, and the name seemed familiar. A lookup on the olde Wikipedia shows that Boreing was part of the Declaration Entertainment thing I was involved with awhile back.

The same guy was mentioned, and he had a very interesting discussion on this cock-eyed leftist idea ("social murder") going around. Indeed, that's what Bongino spent a lot of time on in his most recent show.

Bongino is a very interesting guy. I'd recommend his show highly. That's if you want to get your head out of your ass. Seems like there's way too many people out there like that these days.

Oops! I must be channeling my inner no more mr nice guy. Excuse the hell outta me!

Who the hell is "Greg"?

In order to locate my blog using a search, I encountered this AI analysis of this here blog. The first one, awhile back, of these analyses -- amused me. This latest one has me a bit concerned.

It's "analysis" seems to say that this blog is like Alice Cooper's "No More Mr. Nice Guy", when this "analysis" feels to me like 3 Dog Night's "Mama Told Me Not To Come".

One thing I should be a bit more careful about. I'm merely offering my opinions of the scene. I'm not claiming to be an expert on anything that I'm writing about. From time-to-time, I realize it might get to be a bit too much, and to tone it down it a bit.

So, "who" is this person---meaning me. I've written many posts about myself, so it really shouldn't be a mystery. If it appears that way, it is because I do intend to keep my privacy within the constraints of how much of that is even possible anymore. Whoever is smart enough to do an accurate "analysis" of this blog would certainly have enough chops to know who I am.

I DO know a little about computers. I would definitely counsel EVERYBODY to be careful about these blasted things because they could become troublesome, and especially these days with AI. AI may not necessarily be a good thing---Know what I mean, Vern?

Here's a quote of said "analysis".

The Boots and Oil blog is a personal political commentary site authored by an individual named Greg. The blog primarily focuses on US politics and current events, featuring curated social media clips, news articles, and videos, all accompanied by the author's own critical, often satirical, observations.

Key themes and topics covered on the blog include:

Sharp political criticism of figures from both major parties, with frequent posts targeting Kamala Harris, Donald Trump, Joe Biden, and the "Establishment GOP."

Election integrity and legal issues, such as critiques of Jack Smith's appointment as special counsel and discussions on proof-of-citizenship voting laws.

Media and censorship, with commentary on government-funded censorship and the influence of foreign propaganda. International affairs, including US involvement in Ukraine and relations with China. Conservative and libertarian perspectives, often expressing skepticism toward government overreach and a strong defense of constitutional rights.

The blog is organized with labels like "Major Topic --- Politics" and "Sundry Topics --- News and Current Events," and it has been actively updated as recently as April 2026.

Two videos definitely worth watching

Steyer, candidate for governor of Collyfornia, was asked what grade would he give Gavin Newsome as gov of Collyfornia.  He wouldn't give a grade.
--> 54 min mark <---

I'll give Bongino an A plus.  Worth watching.

Tim Pool has a very, very interesting video on Rumble about SPLC, Merrick Garland, and the recent indictment of SPLC.    Big deal in the news today, also discussed on Bongino's show.  These two tie together...

Virginia referendum ruled unconstitutional

How many people out there are actually paying any attention to this?

There's a reason for the question, and it has lot to do with the fact that Trump was forced off Twitter before it became "X".

Folks may have forgotten that already. Anyway, Trump sets up his own social media site, and now all of the propagandists on the left are posting on his site with their usual rage porn.

The President of the United States cannot get his messaging through on his own website! Think about that. There is this great movement out there to try to keep people from seeing what they should see. If you want to know what the President's thoughts on the matter are, you may not see it because of all this flood of locusts that have invaded the site to keep him from being able to communicate his thoughts. Do you see that? Does anybody given even the slightest thought about that?

Meanwhile, the left does nothing to stop the relentless propaganda being directed at the public through their usual channels in the legacy media, and on their own places. Would they ever put up with this at all? No, if anybody who opposes them say anything, they will try to silence it. This flood of locusts are just another example of this kind of tactical censorship.

So, let's review what happened in Virginia, shall we? But the left doesn't want the public to actually see what they tried to pull off with the BS referendum of theirs. Even BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA was called in to force this over the finish line in their favor.

They may well have CHEATED in order to get a favorable result. The mail-in ballots came in at the last moment in order to give them a winning margin.

Further review would demonstrate that the DEMOCRAT/COMMIES rigged the living shit out of this "democratic" process so that they could do what James Carville ranted about recently.

Just asking the question of people. Are you paying attention to this???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

America is in trouble all right. It is a problem within the country

4/22/26:

Iranian propaganda chief is in charge of what you see on OUR media

Comment: An example of what this is about. The Iranians are running propaganda and one of theirs is influencing messaging on our own soil, and we actually let them do it. This is freaking unbelieable to me, but it sure explains a lot. Don't tell me about the First Amendment BS. The Constitution defines treason explicitly. The Senator took an oath. American servicemen are at risk over there. He has no business talking like that, nor should there be hostile nations sending their people over here in order to influence American policy. Geez, that is really STUPID.

4/21/26:

This Democrat Senator could be talking about some Iranian propaganda. Iranian ships getting past US blockade? They couldn't do anything to stop US bombing the crap out of them, but they can evade the US Navy?

This is like having Tokyo Rose or Lord Haw inside of our government. If the US ran WWII the same way, everybody would be speaking German right now. Or Japanese.  Update:  Boy, the mistakes keep coming.
"Tokyo Rose" wasn't guilty of treason, but was believed to be at the time.  However, my point remains valid--example Vietnam.  Vietnam wasn't lost on the battlefield.  It was "lost" politically and through the treachery of the Democrats.  Nixon negotiated an end to war on favorable American terms.  The North Vietnamese wouldn't have dared to attack while Nixon was still in office, but Nixon was forced out due to the Watergate scandal.  The Democrats treachery resulted in North's takeover in 1975.  Unfortunately, treachery won out in 1975 when the free South fell to the communists.  The Democrats blocked any attempt at aiding the Southern Vietnamese, which handed victory to the commie North.  Likewise, they could do so again in any Iran deal because the Democrats learned that they can win through treachery.  Never going to forget that as long as I live.

Yes, and people like that Senator get taken seriously by way too many people in our own country. It is a very, very sad sight to see.

Beware the internet scams and scammers who are just a bunch of crooks

A scam in uncovered, and what do people think of it?

The comments are worrisome. The story is worrisome.

People rely too much on the internet, but the old legacy media isn't very good either. The problem is how do you get good information?

The scammer is just a crook, and now he is in medical school, funded with his scammed money. Like we actually need more people like that in our medical industry, and in this country.

Well, I've tried to get people to wise the hell up, but I need to practice what I preach as little better.

An endorsement of that youtube channel was a bit hasty. That channel too may have been a scam. But I don't know that. Hard to say. They are demanding subscriptions to view their content, it seems. Well, I deleted their bookmark. Won't be going there now.

I'm taking back some of my approval about this post, and take it as a warning to myself and to others. Something about this practice is looking fishy about now.  This post is not proof of anything dishonest there, but the channel did use some AI in its presentation.  Just like this scammer in the linked story.  Do be careful out there.  I was a bit sloppy.  My bad.

Don Surber: Trump's winning, but let's chill out on all this rose-colored glasses stuff

Sure hope Surber's right about this "winning".

We may get a rude awakening if were too complacent. Just sayin'.

Obama is tired of Trump winning by Don Surber

We’re not.

The source of our rights is not the government, but the Democrats would like to enforce their views to the contrary

via Revolver, here's an article well worth reading.

Our God-given rights are under assault by the usual suspects. Too bad that there's just too many people who are asleep to the danger to the continued enjoyment of those rights.

Good video, but you have to stick with it to the very end

It is difficult to stay with a video like this, which develops the point so slowly, that you might lose all patience before the point finally gets made in the final minute of a 30 minute video.

So I give a thumbs up for it, but only if someone is willing to stick with the video to the very end. Then you might get the point.

The real point is that the government of Ottawa is totally f'ed up, and cannot negotiate much of anything with the USA right now because of their own incompetence. Will Candians ever figure this out? Probably not. The reason why is in this video, but it isn't nearly high-lighted enough for those who may not get it.

The sad, sad fact is that Japan is wasting its time on Canada. They are likely to blow themselves up, as opposed to actually solving any problems at all. That's especially true when the Liberal government there actually caused the damned problems in the first place.

There's a lesson here for our own liberals in the USA, but don't bet anything to get fixed there either. It's for the same reason. As Einstein said, "the mind that caused the problem cannot be the mind that fixes it." The mind of the left is the problem. They cannot fix anything that inherently inside their own heads.

More Sitemeter Statistics- A Great Month- Thank You Very Much!

4/19/26:

This is a very old post from the early days of the blog's second iteration. The first iteration was in 2004. This is a very hard slog to get any traction and pageviews. In the early days of the blog, there were many days with (0) views. It took several months, but it finally did start get some views.

I was plenty happy about that little bitty success that I did have. It didn't grow much more though, but I kept at it for all these years.

There has been times when views have gone up, or seem to have gone up. The trouble is, I'm not too sure of what the actual number is, as I have stated several times before. The sitemeter thing fell out of favor after awhile. I don't remember why I set it aside. Maybe it was Google who made it impossible. It has been a long time since I've used that.

Sitemeter is still around, but they're asking for an account to use it. If I have an account there still, I don't remember how to access it. I could try to sign on again, perhaps with a different sign-on credential. I did that with W3Schools, but it wasn't easy with them to get back on. Maybe sitemeter is the same.

But why do that if Google supplies me with data anyhow? Google can strip out the noise and give me the scoop. Should I trust Google or should I move on to Sitemeter? Only if Google is not telling me the true story. But what IS the true story? Why would Google lie about it? ( I blush as I write this) Anyway, I might check into it. On the other hand, maybe I won't. Either the blog does okay or it doesn't. I'm not going to worry about it. As long as some folks are coming, I'll blog. If it goes to zero again, maybe then I'll stop. If you like this blog, keep on coming by.

5/30/11:

visitors and pageviews last 30 days

Traffic predictions

Last 100 visitors, approx 1 1/2 days
Question: For those of you who are new, would you like to see these numbers continue to improve?  Here are a few ways to help

1) Go to the bottom of the page and click on some videos- the cartoons are the ones I made, watch these, that will help my YouTube stats
2) Go to the Facebook badge on the left, near the top of the screen.  Click on the badge and like my Space Colonization Page.  It has only 7 likes so far.  It may look a lot better if there were a lot more.
3) Like this page by following it.  There are only two followers of this page.  It would look a whole lot better if there were more.
4) Comment upon posts.  You can comment anonymously if you prefer.  Comments look better than no comments.
 5) Click on some Amazon links.  These are in italics, so they should be easy to spot.  Even if you don't buy anything, it may be helpful, I think.
6) Get your friends to do the same.
7) I'm not asking for money, or your email address, or your name, or much of anything.  But this blog does need support to survive.  Please help in any way you can.  Thanks for your support.
