Just the News: "Alarming number of Americans and Democrats expect a politically violent future

Why not, since most Democrats seem to approve of political violence. By their agreement with the proposition, the Dems just about guarantee that it will happen.

Some called the recent elections a wake-up call. But why would you need that after all these years?

Dick Morris says polling data shows Trump's economic policies are not working. You can dispute that if you wish, just mentioning it.

Another thing to throw out there: Here are 8 low-hanging fruit items that would result in a GOP sweep of the midterms.

My opinions often run counter to conventional wisdom...

Democrats are having some success in hamstringing Trump. For Trump's part, he's letting them do it. Chances are, the GOP will let them do it too. So if the midterms don't go his way, he may want to blame himself. Basically, he complains, and depends upon the courts to save him. But you cannot always depend upon the courts. Indeed, the courts are not his friend either. He may have to do some stuff he'd rather not do.

Bannon blames Youngkin for loss in Virginia

GOP never learns. One way or another, people will have to learn. There's an easy way and there's a hard way. Looks like it's gonna be the hard way.

Cloning dogs now?

Yep, and it's being done for profit too. You can clone your pet, as former NFL star QB Tom Brady did. The story doesn't say how that's working out for Brady, though. Maybe the dog is just like his original dog, or maybe not. It doesn't say. The process is simple, just need to take a blood sample.

Legacy media is not necessarily American owned

Media conglomerates don't give a rat's ass about American values---in my opinion.

Big Apple has a commie worm in it

Led Zeppelin --- No Quarter

This song came out in the seventies when I was in high school. Reason I mention it is that the song was mentioned in a political article, which I didn't make note of. I suppose I could find the article, but I won't bother. Instead, I present the lyrics and the music to ponder on. What does it mean? It is about the conquering spirit of the Vikings, in my opinion. The world is a violent place. Conquer or be conquered. Peace is an illusion. It does not hold for long. Or it hasn't held in history, and it may never hold.

Groypers

9:30 AM:

Who the hell are they? The following subtack embed discusses the subject a bit for folks who don't know. Some of this cultural stuff just doesn't interest me. I didn't know anything about Kirk either. My opinion of Kirk is that the left hates him so much because he was a real threat. Power is all that the left really believes in after all.

If the Groypers really like Adolf Hitler, then I'd say that they're a really bad joke.

1:18 PM:

Here's another article on its leader or founder, or whatever--- Fuentes. I DO note that the article linked here refers to the "right" once again. This is the Marxist paradigm that I've mentioned time and again. Those who use this are using a faulty model of analysis. Hence, perhaps the person having written this anti-Fuentes article is missing the mark. Physician : "heal thyself".

3:14 PM:

Grokipedia has a fairly comprehensive write-up on Fuentes.   Based upon this write-up, I'd say that Fuentes doesn't quite fit the negative caricatures depicted by the usual suspects.  But he is flawed, all the same.  He may indeed take some extraordinary opinions for sensationalist attention-seeking, as the original post earlier today indicated.

He couldn't be elected to higher office.  Not a chance.

5:21 PM:

Keep finding these tidbits on Fuentes... This time a video. Not primarily about Fuentes, but what gets him traction... Yeah, the GOP is weak, but what else is new?

Can't remove the possibility of fraud

Many of these states do not have protections against fraud. So there was definitely fraud there. No question. Only question is how much.

Requiem For Gotham

By Eric Utter on American Thinker: 9/11 didn’t destroy New York City. 11/04 will.  The largest city in America has fallen. The world’s financial capital will henceforth be run by a communist. What could go wrong?  What has always gone wrong, throughout hist...

Hand-wringing is probably not the best way to go here. History has shown that things can appear to be very bad, but better days did come. Hopefully, better days lie ahead. I worry less about the Mamdamis and the AOCs than I do supposedly "conservative" types like the late Dick Cheney. Cheney voted for Kamala Harris. How does a conservative do THAT? Hmmm?

You gotta believe in what you're doing. The same may be true with the other side, but they're wrong. However, it won't matter if they continue winning like this. In the worst case, you have to depend upon divine deliverance. Personally, I think the Lord helps those who help themselves.

Why New York yuppies love Zohran Mamdani’s socialism

By Joseph Ford Cotto, on American Thinker: It’s one of the strangest spectacles in modern American politics. The high-flying professionals of New York’s white-collar class are now marching behind an avowed socialist, Zohran Mamdani. These are the same lawyers, traders, and tech sp...

The Most Devastating Single-Missile Shot in Aviation History

I'm watching more and more videos lately. Maybe this one will prove interesting.

Here's another. Just shows to go ya, you cannot depend upon conventional wisdom. This plane got no respect, except from our enemies.

So did I

If you have children, do you let them walk to school by themselves? Well, I don't have kids. When I was a kid, I walked to school by myself. (Except for the first few days that is.) From the first grade on to when I got my first car, I walked, or rode a bicycle, to school. Does that happen anymore??? It does in Japan.

The money was never recovered. The men most responsible weren't directly punished by law, but they didn't entirely get away with it either.

Last Ditch?

"looks like is the Left has turned the Democratic Party into a suicide cult"
--unquote

If it were up to me, I'd egg them on and DARE them to try anything. If they did, then crush them without mercy. After all, if they succeeded, there would be no war in response to a coup. This article proves that nobody expects war, or they'd be preparing for it. I'd say this is a dangerous threat, therefore act that way. But that's how it appears to me, a person who doesn't get out much. Sure hope that this author, Kunstler, doesn't have Trump's ear. Be ready, I say.

What would Sun Tzu say? If you're strong, pretend to be weak--and vice versa. Therefore, who's strong and who's weak? Who's acting strong, while weak, and so forth. A personal assessment: I have a hard time believing that the so-called right is ready for a war. At the same time, I think the left would start one and fight one if they could. The whole thing could be a PR campaign. There's no war on the horizon, but a riot might happen.

Does Fox do cancel culture?

It looks like they do.

The future is in the hands of the court---what will they do?

This is the big fight right here. If the SCOTUS can make the proper call, the invasion could end.

Conservative Inc Folds

Check this out.

It kinda looks like National Review screwed Mark Steyn, and even themselves. Perhaps it was really meant to screw Steyn et.al. National Review comes out smelling bad here, or maybe just being stupid. In other words, to screw Steyn, maybe in the end, they'll only screw themselves. That's Steyn's side, though. It's a murky biz.

What's the plan with the shutdown?

Get rid of the filibuster to pass a CR? Excuse me, but I don't get it. If the Dems are going to get rid of it anyway in order to pass their priorities, then why not get rid of the filibuster right from the beginning? A CR does do not do much for GOP priorities. A purely partisan bill, which is what the filibuster prevents, just to pass a CR just seems to me to be awfully damned lame. The CR contains a lot of crap that the GOP could get rid of. Suck it up buttercups. No to ending the filibuster which already gives the Dems a few things that they're getting anyway?- boo to that. Whereas, if you started out the gate with no filibuster, you could get a lot better bill. The GOP and Trump need to toughen up. No wonder the Dems think they can profit from a shutdown. Make 'em pay.

Once upon a time, I theorized that Venus did not have a runaway greenhouse effect.   I also wrote that I thought I was the only one (that I knew of) that held that view.  It turns out that I'm wrong.  It appears that the literature has a theory that is close to what I wrote.  Maybe I didn't know because I don't read the literature.  The legacy media sure doesn't mention it.

The thing is, nobody will know until more study is done on Venus, but as everyone knows, Venus is very hard to study.  Space probes cannot endure its crushing atmosphere and hellish heat on its surface.
