One of these might come in handy in these parts

Mosquitoes have been said to be the state bird of Texas. If this gizmo works as advertised, there may not be many mosquitoes around. Don't tell PETA about it, though.

P.S

. I checked into the replies. This device is pretty sophisticated, I imagine. But there are cheaper devices. There's some electric bug zappers that you can use that cost less than $50. This laser gizmo probably costs a lot more. ($500!)

I hate mosquitoes so much, if it didn't cost too much, I'd buy BOTH gizmos. I've already owned the bug zappers, but they don't get 'em all. Whatever the bug zapper didn't get, the laser WOULD.

But, but, but.... Epstein!

Democrats are so pathetic. The real issues are the economy, not the usual fake scandals. Democrats have nothing to say, but the usual Trump hatred.

The "biggest" problem in SpaceX's plans

Possession is 9/10th of ownership, it has been said. Trouble is, in order to get to Mars with a chemical rocket, you're going to have serious logistical problems. Therefore, the problem solves itself if nukes are kept out of the picture. So the problem is really the nukes, not the real estate. Musk's chance of success with his rockets are probably not that good, despite the appearances. He needs nuclear power, but that will be a problem with governments.

Margot Robbie to star in new Tim Burton flick

World of Reel

Time Burton's previous work includes the flick "Mars Attacks". Here's a scene from that flick.

The new flick seems to be a re-make of the cult film --- "Attack of the 50 Foot Woman"

It's too cheesy to embed a bit of that one. The new flick is right up his alley, or so it seems.

Howard Lutnick Discusses Massive New Trade Agreement with Japan with Exceptional Potential

The Conservative Treehouse

Comment:

This looks great. BUT. (There's always a BUT, isn't there?) For every beneficial thing that someone may think up, there's somebody who will object. This is one of the facts of life, as far as I'm concerned. Nothing is ever going to be allowed unless there's something that will push it over the finish line.

Know what I mean, Vern? The point being, that if there's no follow up in the rest of the country, this will come to nothing. That would be a real shame, but hey, that's life. You may call that cynicism, I'll call it realism.

Arguing with a wokie

Can't say that I've had that experience before, but it is well to remember it just in case. When someone starts out with the name calling, I kinda figure the alligators are in the swamp, and it may be time to back out.

The Raptor 3 engine has an issue?

Don't tell me that these things can blow up too?! Yikes. When they light up this candle full of raptor 3's, it will be time to hold on to your butt. Know what I mean, Vern? Even more so, it can have even more problems once it has to re-light. This figures to be a long development slog, I suspect.

Acts to Revelation --- The World of the First Christians

This is on Amazon Prime, and may be available elsewhere, as this link goes to a webpage. It's broken down into 18 parts. On Prime, it can be watched in its relatively short segments of about 30 minutes apiece.

I tend to watch shows like these. It's the lazy way of getting some familiarity with the material.

Don Surber: Getting media to cover Obamagate

Here's a better idea: Start pulling their broadcast licenses if they don't start labelling their "News" as opinion. There's plenty of precedent for forcing truth in labelling laws elsewhere in the products that people consume. News is a product too, for which truth in labelling should be enforced.

It does not affect First Amendment rights. You have an unlimited ability to say what you think. You do not have the right to misrepresent the product that you present to the public. That is well established law. When truth in labelling was introduced to other products, the First Amendment was used as a defense. That defense FAILED. If it failed elsewhere, why wouldn't it fail in broadcast media?

Never underestimate the enemy

Kirk goads Khan into following him into the Nebula, where Kirk's chances are much better. Khan coninually makes the mistake of following emotion, as opposed to following reason. So Khan falls for Kirk's gambit, and pays for it, as Kirk destroys him.

There's a lesson here... Trump has them beaten. Why test this unnecessarily? It could go wrong. Then you will have inflicted an unnecessary defeat upon us all. You might say that this is only a movie, but there are real life examples that I could show, but won't.

Folks want blood, but a suitable target should be ourselves

Told ya! It doesn't do much good now to go after him though. It might well backfire. The last thing we should want is to make a martyr out of him.

I say I told ya because that is what I did at the time. Nobody listened then, and likely thing is that nobody will listen now, either.

I tell you who would be hard for the Democrats to rally arounnd---Liz Cheney. Politics ain't beanbag, but you cannot do much about your enemy if you're divided from within.
