CNN Exclusive: One conservative's dramatic reversal on gay marriage



This may bring a lot of schadenfreude to some people. It is really rather sad. That puts me in the minority of course. But that doesn't matter to me. Being popular doesn't make you right.

By the way, I emailed this to my blog and this is how it came back.  The grey area is my comment, which is included in the email.

This is rather disturbing that a conservative could have a "change of heart" over something like this.

Update:

Perusing the comments section of Free Republic, which is where I got the link to this CNN article, I note that some don't believe that Portman was a conservative anyway.  Even if he was a true conservative, this shows that it wasn't very deep nor committed.

Also, his state supported traditional marriage 2 to 1.

He should get a primary challenge and get his leftist ass out.
