Simple Solution (Easier Said than Done)
Conceptually, the way to eliminate the problem is simple: abolish the Fed and get rid of fractional reserve lending.
In practice, the idea is easier said than done, because the wealthy are in control of the system and they are the ones who benefit from inflation.
Yeah, I criticized fraction reserve banking. He says the rich and the bankers have the advantage during inflation.
It is much more fashionable to raise taxes, but that is easily side stepped. Those who keep pushing that message are also the ones who benefit from higher taxes.
If we can stop losing the messaging wars, and if we can actually elect people who will address the problems, there may be a chance.
