News roundup, 2/23/15

Restarting this habit, as the weekend interrupted it.  Can't blame the weekend, but there are other things I'd rather do than watch the news.  Besides, I may make a new twist with it.  Positive stuff may be featured a bit more than with of all that dreary stuff.

• Apple wants to get into the car manufacturing business?  They are sitting on a mountain of cash.
• Homeland Security funding ends soon.  Will the GOP fold?  
• Meanwhile, the DHS goes after the right wing threat at home, not ISIS.  So, does the GOP fold?
• The IRS scandal is being stonewalled by this administration.  So, does the GOP fold?
• Giuliani:  Obama influenced by communists since youth.   This is controversial?  Why would Obama and Democrats deny this?  It is the truth.  And why would they think it bad, since they like Socialism?
• Lindsey Graham wants to run for President as a Republican?  He had better be careful of what he says on the major networks.  They claim he refuted what Giuliani said, but not exactly.
• The Oscars were said to be all white.  They also appear to be dominated by Democrats.

Okay, that's my news scan for this morning. It wasn't all that cheery after all.
