The Unbearable Lightness of Feminism
The left is interested only in themselves, not in serving those who they claim to serve. Here's a quote that illustrates that perfectly:
The professional feminist is not there to help women, but to promote the agenda of the institutional left. She will turn campus rape into a political cause while criticizing every rape prevention measure, from a rape drug detecting nail polish to self-defense for women, for not dealing with rape culture. Stopping rape doesn’t interest her. Exploiting the abuse of women to fight a culture war does. [ emphasis added]
Take this quote and apply it across the entire left wing and you get what the Democrats are today. They don't help anybody but themselves while the country goes down the drain.
That's my take.
What will the GOP do? There are those who are optimistic about them, but I am going to watch them and see if they don't do the same damn thing. You can't trust politicians, no matter how good they make themselves sound. That's why we have checks and balances. Eventually, they will go too far.
