Legal Insurrection
comment:
Boy, an aspiring psychiatrist can make a living out this one case history alone--- with respect to this Guardian article that is.
Sick, sick, sick.
Martin was only defending himself? Where was that ever established, or claimed? Who beat up who?
Martin didn't have a bloody nose or abrasions, except on his hands. Gee, I guess Zimmerman hit his fists with his nose. Boy, what an injustice to injure Martin's hands with his nose like that! What a beast he is!
Zimmerman stalked Martin? Loaded terms don't make a thing so. Following a person who looks suspicious is not stalking, unless I missed something.
Zimmerman shouldn't have gotten out of his car. ( That's my opinion, as this wasn't mentioned in the article. ) That doesn't equate with "stalking". Besides, Zimmerman has as much right to be in his own neighborhood as Martin.
The article claims the verdict was shameful. He may want to re-do this article before he uses such words. Look who's talking.
Frankly, I don't know that this was the best possible verdict. But I do know this was not the best possible prosecution. Not hardly. If the author is angry, let him be angry at that.
