There's no quid pro quo and the Democrats know it. So now they will go on to process crimes. This is what happened with the Mueller investigation. The Mueller investigation wasn't about Russian collusion. It was about finding a process crime in which to charge the president.
The Democrats are merely following the Scooter Libbey pattern once again. Scooter Libbey wasn't guilty of any crime, but they found a process crime to charge him with. This all happened to Libbey even though the investigators knew that there was no underlying crime. Same thing here.
