What are they up to now?

The stuff I saw today makes me wonder how Peggy Noonan could believe anything the liberals are saying.  One example is that the Ukrainians had already started their investigation that Trump is supposed to have "strong-armed" them into starting.  Might have seen that on Beck or on Bongino, or on John Solomon.  Makes no difference.  You have to have the mentality that could believe in the tooth-fairy to believe Democrats these days.  This piece lavishes praise on Noonan, but she seems like a moron to me.

"How can you be so stupid?", indeed.  Or, were you born this stupid, or did it take a lot of practice?

An answer to McRaven.  I hope there are a lot more like this.

Evidently, these people believe that they have Trump on the ropes.  You've got Peggy Noonan writing opinions on it now.

So here I am, wondering how is it that these people have it so wrong, or do I have it wrong?

Her opinion seems so one-sided to me.  Trump is looking into corruption, and that somehow makes him corrupt?  I don't get it.  Either my brain is missing something, or those who push this idea are the ones missing something.  For the corruption is in DC, and that is why Trump is there---- "to drain the swamp".

Everything about Russian collusion was bravo-sierra.  There's Mueller who looked into it, but he doesn't bother to look at things that he should have been looking into.  It looked like the fix was in.  It still does.

Here's what I think.  Trump has his finger on what is wrong in this country, but these people think they know better.  However, they still hold the power in DC, and they still might oust him anyway.  This despite the fact that the people don't want impeachment, and see this as a political move.  The country will break free of this corrupt political class or they won't.   There is no turning back from this confrontation.  Somebody will have to win, and somebody will have to lose.

One thing that Peggy Noonan says that I agree with:  "anything can happen".

11:45 am:

Here's another thing to consider:  McConnell warns GOP to gear up for Impeachment Trial.  No serious GOP effort is being made to support the President.  Phony polls are being used to create the impression of public support.  Supposed GOP support is 90%, but 24% GOP'ers favor impeachment inquiry???

Something is fishy going on.  I'm very suspicious of all this.

11:35 am:

Recall that incident yesterday, with Pelosi, Schumer, and Hoyer storming out of the bipartisan meeting? It came after an overwhelming vote to condemn Trump for leaving Syria.

Can't help but notice that Admiral McRaven is claiming that senior officers are losing confidence in Trump, and there's this phony Star Chamber thing in the House to go along with that.

Looks a bit fishy to me.  By the way, McRaven's editorial in the New York Times does not seem persuasive at all.  How does pulling out of an endless war endanger the Republic?  Because we are no longer considered the "good guys"?  There is no argument there, just an appeal to some emotional heartstring as usual.  Perhaps they are getting some ideas there in DC.

Look, if a soft coup isn't successful, you might see a hard one.
