Yours truly could NEVER understand how people could vote for these people after what happened in Benghazi. The failure to come to their aid was pretty bad. But they couldn't, and the reason why they couldn't is explained in the link below. The reason was POLITICAL, not the reasons given, which were FALSE.
Bad as that seemed, it was even worse than I thought. And I thought it was pretty damned bad.
It turned out that the MANPADS were indeed a problem, and that they were traceable back to the policy decisions made by the Obama administration during the time leading up to Benghazi.
As the lengthy article linked to below, MANPADS weren't a problem in Afghanistan before this flawed policy, but became so afterward. Not only that, evidence was found of their origin, and it was this Obama Administration policy that made the Taliban acquisition of MANPADS possible.
To think that a flimsy, ridiculous story about a video helped re-elect Obama in 2012, is a troubling thing. It shows that their lies worked then, and still are working today.
We've got to do better, or they may win again.
