Yep, and it is none other than our good, good friend Sen. John Cornball Cornyn, who thought up this monstrosity of an idea.
The LAST thing we need is another government bureaucracy. It is loaded with Democrats, who don't do anything for space, but sure love to empower themselves at taxpayer expense. Not only that, they are becoming extraordinarily bent on making this a one-party totalitarian state. (All the while claiming that Trump is doing it. This is even more stupid in light of that.)
That's all the more reason to send this knucklehead home. He never learns. He might be "better" than a Democrat, but that's like saying suffocating is a better way of dying than burning to death.
Picking your poison with these bozos is very important, but it would help if they had they minds right about what their real role is, and it is NOT to grow the government by another whit. Indeed, they should be proposing ways to shut down agencies (or downsizing) , not adding or growing new ones.
