The entire affair is disgraceful on many levels. Whatever Trump's motives, you can bet money on it that there's nothing there to harm him personally. There's no way the Dems would've sat on that info all these years. They don't have anything real, so this is just the latest fake news to throw at him.
It doesn't need to be any more complicated than that. But people are so anxious to do harm to the man that they'll latch on to anything.
