Those who claim otherwise, are either: lying, or they're ignorant of history and law. Either way, they're wrong. At the time I was in school and even in college, it was a requirement to know Texas history in order to get a high school diploma or degree. Maybe that has changed, I'm not sure. But if it has, it needs to be changed back. American history needs to reflect these facts. Even when I was in school, American history didn't include these facts. Some food for thought for you leftards out there.
