Others, like MTG, are trying to hijack the term, and use it for their own purposes. Trump has defined MAGA, not MTG then. If not Trump, then who?
In trying to hijack MAGA for whatever her purpose is, she is in fact, de-railing it. If you're not on the Trump-train, then you're not MAGA. Likewise, if you are on the Trump train, then you are MAGA.
One of the favorite tactics of the Establishment is to co-opt it for themselves. So, I think that since the Establishment has been against Trump all along, then MTG is acting in concert with the Establishment.
Who's going to fulfill Trump's vision but Trump? MTG didn't invent it, Trump did. MTG can takeover MAGA, but what will that accomplish? Once they made the useful idiot into one of their own, they will have defeated MAGA too. MTG cannot sustain MAGA, but Trump has been able to despite all the Establishment's hostility towards it.
Trump has done more for MTG than the other way around. She's not loyal to Trump, so he's right to go after her. Don't let yourselves be fooled. The Establishment is out for themselves. Now MTG is just serving them, and not US.
People will confuse this with cultism. Funny how that works. You're a cult because you disagree. But agreeing with the Establishment is the only suitable way to be. So why aren't they a bunch of cultists? It just looks like another case of the politics of Shut UP.
If you don't agree, they will punish you.
