American Thinker is pointing the finger at Democrats, and accusing them of not being serious.
You know who doesn't seem serious to me right now? The so-called called leaders of MAGA!
Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be many, if any at all, serious people in this country today.
If you cannot be serious about the upcoming election, you will become irrelevant. Then why would anybody take you seriously again?
It is really an amazing thing to behold. Utter non-seriousness.
Compared to the Democrats, I'd say the Democrats are way ahead on the seriousness department.
10/21/25:
It will be a one-sentence declaration: It's utterly non-serious. There... It's written again.
Just reading over the usual sites that I read... Nothing much is really happening. The left is in its Oscar winning performance mode---saying how the country is no longer the Yankee Doodle Dandy model of yesteryear. But as usual, they are full of shit.
Nothing much is changing. The left is confusing the public, and the so-called conservatives aren't really doing a damned thing about it. Not only that, close to half of the country believes the bullshit.
One thing IS serious. If something doesn't start really changing soon, these
Not wishing to be on the downer, but that's how it really is. Trump is doing a good job, but it is not nearly enough. That's because it isn't nearly aggressive enough. Trouble is, if he did try to do anything, the GOP would get nervous and would probably stop him. Example? The shutdown. The left has presented their jugular, and the GOP doesn't go for it. Trump and the GOP will regret this. If not, the rest of us will.
There's a limited time to get this done, and the GOP/Trump has pissed away most of Trump's first year of the second term. His accomplishments all seem superficially impressive, but it needs to be better, and it ain't. Our problems aren't in the middle east nor in Ukraine. It's always been right here.
As for the title claim, it has always been true about the GOP. Way too scaredy cat to do anything serious.
