Hypersonic engines

Interesting. Could this be used in space? Higher specific impulse means more efficient engines for space travel, too.

The next video is also a hyper-sonic vehicle design. It is from Hermeus, which was written up previously here.

This approach is not a new design like the above, but based upon existing technology, which is being adapted for extra high performance at hyper-sonic velocities.  This approach isn't likely adaptable to space vehicles, however.
