Reaction to the reaction to the reaction (to the tariffs)

---Just saw that a "conservative" group is going to sue Trump over the tariffs. Oh, brother! Now the "conservatives" are going to go to the Lawfare playbook. It just shows to go ya.

--- There's another side to the story, not just the "enemedia" side. Reports are that Trump is okay with the tariffs and the responses he's getting from many other countries. The media is just playing the FUD game.

--- The reaction on Wall Street isn't good, but yours truly could care less about Wall Street. Wall Street is a casino, for crying out loud. If Wall Street went to Hell, I don't think the Devil would want them.

--- If Trump can get a bunch of bilateral trade deals that would improve our trading posture, then I'm all for it. But the System may have something to say about it. Screw the System, since they are screwing us anyhoo. Trump DOES need to keep the public behind him. If he loses the people, then the politicians and bureaucrats will sense blood in the water, and then you know what happens after that.

--- So the window of opportunity may close quickly.

--- A quick comment upon the trade posture--- even critics admit that the US is drawing down its manufacturing capacity through its trading policy. This has been true ever since the end of WW II. That explains a few things that may not be commonly understood. Of course, the enemedia won't be tellin you that. You have to do some homework, and will people do that???

--- This may be a riverboat gamble. Reagan did one with his tax cuts. Clinton did one by getting China into the trading regime, and thus made China a superpower. The idea there was that China would become more like us. How's that one working out???
