Okay then. Six more years for the Mofo in Chief!

Comment:

Don't really care if they call him bad names.  It is an honor to be hated.  If they loved him, it would only be because he was screwing up.

Gotta look at it the right way.

Pearl Jam --- Black

Off the album called Ten.  I had a cassette tape of this album that I found lying on the ground many years ago.  I put it into the tape deck and played it, and I liked it.

Just the other day, this song from the album was played on the radio and I realized that I didn't understand the song.  Mostly because I cannot understand the lyrics, so I need to check the web and see what the heck this guy was singing.

After viewing the lyrics, it is really a sad song.

The song reminds me of a time that I was living in.  This was the early nineties, and a few things had not gone right.  The mood fits the song.

Today was kind of a tough day on the road.  Some of what happened reminded me of what happened back then.  Just a little problem that I have sometimes with seeing things backward.  It caused me to make a couple of mistakes that one would figure that--- after all these years in this business--- that I would never make.  Mistakes like that can make the difference between failure and success.  It's the little things that can get you.

I think about those times again, and I think of this song.  The things that might have been, but weren't.

So this is what the Never Trumpers had in mind?

This is the type of people that George Will said we needed to be in Congress.

Trump is supposed to be less than a gentleman, but what can you can about this woman?

Evidently, nothing, according to Saint Nancy.

Nice going George.  You got what you wanted.

Guy says that if humanity went extinct, he would not shed any tears

Comment:

At the heart of the so-called environmentalist movement lies this kind of thinking.  You cannot take these people at their word.

Therefore, it is not about saving the environment for future generations.  It is anti-humanity.  They want us dead.

Fake news sells

Comment:

The anti-Trump bias of the New York Times seems to have increased their subscription rates.  Fake news is good business, it seems.

High School Photos Come Back To Haunt Ocasio-Cortez, She Went By A DIFFERENT Name

Comment:

Most of the article shows how she was not from the Bronx, as she is trying to claim.  She also went by the name "Sandy".

Why the need to project an image that is not so?  Who does she think she's fooling?  But it seems to work.

Fakery is becoming worse: Now it is "Deep fake"

Saw this on Ace of Spades this morning.  It seems that fakery is getting better all the time.  It will become so bad that a completely false image can replace the real one.

It reminded me of something I wrote about before.  Or should I say, quoted before:

The sad truth is that in today’s America, nothing is real. Money is fake. Politicians are fake. Liberty is fake. We live in the United States of Fake, where we create fake presidents, fake heroes, and fake morals.

The truth is not respected anymore.  It is getting really bad out there.  Evidently, there are people who admire this kind of thing.  How long can that last?  Anything built on falsity cannot last.
