A search for news from Canada did not reveal many stories outside of Trump's ending of trade negotiations. But what about the internal situation in the western provinces?

Another search for Alberta separatism yielded plenty of videos, but none had all that many pageviews. So the question arises: Is the separatism talk just that, or is there something signiificant behind it? Could the search engine be deliberately skewing the results away from separtism, and towards the "shiny object"---Trump's mercurial nature? In other words, what's really going on in Canada? Is Canada falling apart? Will the western provinces split off and even join the USA?
