Mr Soul by Buffalo Springfield 1967
This song came to mind for reasons I cannot fathom. The subconsious is a strange thing.
It was from the sixties, and written by Neil Young. It was performed with the group called Buffalo Springfield. It was a hit, apparently, as I recalled it being played on the radio back then. Maybe not a smash hit, but a hit just the same.
I got a bit curious about the song, so I googled it. I only remembered a few of the words, and so finding it was an amazing thing in itself. That's one of the things about the internet that I like. Never mind the things I don't like. The internet is like a gigantic library that you can get answers to any question.
The song seems to be about fame, and how it is handled by the person affected.
Why write about it? Why not? I have a shortage of ideas, and this is as good as any.
