The first video is Rush Limbaugh's first TV show. He is behind the blue dot. I remember that dreaded blue dot. In those days, like these days, the left wanted to shut down anybody and everybody who disagreed with them. You needed to hide behind a blue dot then, and things are the same today. Limbaugh admired Ronald Reagan. Although I didn't vote for Reagan in 1980 or 84, I consider his Presidency to have been a great success. I didn't vote for Reagan because he didn't cut spending enough for such large tax cuts. Otherwise, I had no problem with him at all.
Now check out this video and see how things haven't changed much since 1966. Not much at all? Actually, things are worse. We could use another Reagan. Reagan was as rare in 1966 as he is now. There are plenty of politicians who claim to want to cut the size of government. Reagan really would have, in my opinion, if he had a majority. Reagan never had a majority. George W. Bush did. Trump did. Those were small, fleeting majorities. The majority has to be bigger than those were, and we need a Reagan type to take a meat axe to the overgrown, all powerful, out of control government of today. Here's Reagan...
