Will America heed the wake-up call of Ukraine?

I agree.  As for America heeding the wake-up call question, I don't think so as long as this president remains in office.

The dollar as the world's reserve currency will be in jeopardy if this goes too far, which is a distinct possibility.  If that happens, there's goes your welfare state.

By the way, I got this link from the Mahablog.  She says that the GOP is only criticizing the president because he's black.  Also that a GOP president would be doing the same thing and the GOP would be praising him.  My reaction to that is this:  what the Mahablog says is willfully untruthful, or it is appallingly ignorant.  I am inclined to believe the former.
