Interesting to me because I use 4 different drugs to keep my pressure down. It also validates my uneducated opinion about fight or flight being the root cause of my pressure problem. My doctor's nurse took my pressure 3 times in a row, when I first came into the examination room with only a couple of seconds between tests. The first reading was 168/88, which is high. The second was 135/80 which is marginal, and 128/76 which is not bad. 10 minutes later the doctor came in, didn't like the results because they were not consistent, and he proceeding to take my pressure manually. 3 times again. Same result. He doesn't like the results, but I told him, it's always that way. The operation looks like an excellent way to get off medication, and as anyone with high blood pressure will tell you, the medication's side effects are almost as bad as being sick, almost.
Looks like a pretty good deal. The article says its not a cure, though. But for all intents and purposes, for a mild hypertensive, this is a cure. It would bring pressure into the normal range. Cure or no cure, it does look like a promising treatment.
