The scene from the Big Lebowski. The Establishment Dems will be "the dude", the Establishment RINOS will be "Donny", the commies will be the "nihilist gang", and The Donald will be "Walter". Whatcha think??? Why set up the characters like that? The dude tries to buy off the gang cheap, Donny has a heart attack and dies, the gang gets their asses kicked by Walter. I think that sums it up.
