AOC doubles down on losing bet

There's nothing new here to write about, which is the remarkable thing. For awhile there, things seemed to breaking. A little reflection though shows that it's Friday, and that means nothing's going to happen in Congress. Maybe it was all a staged thing to get attention.

In the meantime, another GOP representative is leaving before the term is over. Seems like this is an attempt to shut down any attempt at sunlight. I was skeptical that anything would come of this, as there are too many in the GOP who are cooperating with the Democrats. Even if impeachment passed the House, it wouldn't get anywhere in the Senate. Not to say that they shouldn't do it, but there's little reason to suspect that this will get anywhere. Although for awhile there, it seemed like something real had a chance to happen. It was another fake out.

This post is getting as convoluted as this story. It looks like the story is blowing up in some way. Either it is blowing up into an impossible to ignore scandal on the Bidens, or it is blowing up on the GOP committee which is conducting these hearings. But it is definitely getting deeper and deeper into the doo-doo. The Tarlov thing may have been related to the committee hearing from a Democrat congresslady, who made an accusation very similar to the one Tarlov made.

This is getting deeper all the time. I haven't followed this all that closely. It seems like there's a conflict in testimony amongst the Biden's themselves. I speculate that this is the reason that Hunter Biden won't go before the committee again. Obviously the discrepancy would be addressed, and it is hard to see how he could answer it.
