Billy Joel has blamed three highly-publicised car accidents on depression brought on by the Sept 11 terror attacks on his home city of New York, rather than on his well-known problems with alcohol.

He says he was affected by what man could do to man. Do you know what depression is? I've seen it defined as a loss of a value. Perhaps Joel was depressed when he estimation of human kind dropped to a lower level. That would be a loss of a value.
Also, Joel says that his memoirs were to be about things that aren't part of his life. ( The text shows that the publisher only wanted salacious details about his drinking and so forth...) Just goes to show you that the media is SCUM.
