Why interview Pence at all?
He's blaming Trump and others even though they are not in power, and cannot do anything with regards to the Presidential power one way or another. This is a Biden problem; not a Trump, DeSantis or whoever problem.
Besides that, he shows an awful lot of disloyalty for his old boss. That seems all too typical these days, which is what the actual question was about.
