Dem Congressman Threatens To Call Cops On Citizen Journalist Rather Than Answer Questions On Hamas

10/22/23: Update of 10/20/23 post:

Do these people (Illhan Omar) really represent "We the People"?

Does the GOP actually really represent "We the People"?

Perhaps something changed and made these people the majority. However, if they really aren't the majority, then how is this a democracy? About as much as a democracy as they had in Hitlerite Germany.

This is becoming a running joke... /pun off

By the way, the Democrats seem to have a problem talking to the press...

end update:

Could it be that this citizen journalist was being bullied into not asking a question of a US Representative?

The journalist asked the Democrat Representative about funding Hamas, and the Representative refused to answer while threatening to call the Capitol Police on him. The law was on the journalist's side, according to this quote:

For electronic media coverage, the House states “[v]ideotaping and audio recording are permitted in the public areas of the House and Senate office buildings.” The video was taken inside of the public area of the Canon House Building, the Daily Caller learned.

The source for the quote was from the Daily Caller. There's video of the exchange at the link.

Democrats have shown a strong tendency to avoid questions about Hamas, in addition there's this threat, and an accusation from Rep Tlaib of Michigan. Why is that? Is it "ethical" to call the cops on a journalist who has a right to be where he was, and to do what he was doing?

The question was about how US funding that somehow gets to Hamas. Why would this be a source of irritation for any member of Congress? Why would it be controversial to even ask the question? Seems like a fair question.

Are Democrats such holy creatures that they are not to approached nor questions about anything if they don't want? Who elected them our Lords and Masters?
