We can now look at building up from the basic level with likely new space capabilities Spacex Heavy launches with some level of reusability, Bigelow expandable space stations and Spiderfab.

In my series about mining asteroids, I think I may have pointed out that there has to be a raison d'être for these type of projects. I hold that mining asteroids could be made profitable if there exists a will to do so. A profit can provide the motivation that leads to a development of such willpower. Otherwise, without a raison d'être, this is all mental masturbation. Nobody is doing this.
