David Frum, writing for the Atlantic seems to think so.
All the more reason to believe that the Supreme Court will screw us on same sex marriage. Likely, they are persuaded by this type of reasoning.
The reasoning can be summarized thusly: If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!
So, we are to understand that "conservatives" are no longer to be the party of principle. Just do what everybody else does. That's the only way to win. That principle stuff is so yesterday. You got to get with the times.
Hey, that ain't conservatism. That's surrender.
