No celebrations, though. Not enough time.
Just got home from work. Actually, been in and out all day. Mostly working the neighborhood, you might say. One thing about Uber, you have the freedom to work anywhere you want. But you don't necessarily get to make a lot of money while doing it.
Not complaining too much about the money, just saying that it really doesn't pay. I had an Uber driver onboard today. He was talking about the same topic. Not that much happiness in Uberville these days.
That reminds me of a joke. Something of an old one. I think it went like this "All I want is fewer hours, and higher pay." Now, I know it was a lot more colorful than that, but you get the point. People who do the hiring want to pay as little as possible. People who do the work want to do as little work for the money as they have to. Nobody wants to live to work, everybody wants to work to live. Or live like a King.
