If anybody has been paying attention, the price of oil has been dropping. No, it wasn't anything that Obama did, although the left is trying to take credit for it.
No, the price is going down because of SAUDI ARABIA. That's in capital letters because I am "shouting" in print. Saudi Arabia is the low cost producer of oil. They are producing all out in order to drive prices down. They can do this because as they said "they can afford it". They can afford it because they are the low cost producers, DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now, what has Obama done? Produce more solar and wind energy? Does this deserve any credit at all for dropping prices? HELL NO. Solar and wind WILL NEVER compete with oil and nuclear because of ( drum roll please...) The cost!!!!
Hello? Anybody in there? ( Tapping your heads with a cane like Old Biff in Back to the Future) Think, people, think! If molten salt reactor technology is adopted, which is cheaper than coal, we could compete head to head with the Saudis on price and WIN.
Oh. Winning isn't allowed. My bad. I just don't understand today's brave new world. We should all gather around the campfire and sing KUMBAYA and all our troubles will go away. /snark
