Star Scientific Australian Process To Develop Nuclear Fusion

Star Scientific Australian Process To Develop Nuclear Fusion: Star Scientific claims a unique process to cheaply, plentifully manufacture muons to achieve nuclear fusion at low temperatures on forty years of research.

comment:

They are researching a way to utilize muon-catalyzed fusion.  Don't see anything that indicates a new development, though.

Update:

12:55 pm:

Table top atom smashers have been built before.  Well, maybe it isn't impossible after all.

Muons have a long history in physics, relatively speaking.  Consequently, knowledge of these particles isn't new.  In fact, it appears that they have been used, or thought of as a possibility of being used for sophisticated purposes.  The idea of using them for rocket propulsion has not turned up in my peregrinations through the web.

It may take a very large magnet to manipulate these things, plus you need an atom smasher in order to make them.  That would seem to eliminate this as a possibility for rocket propulsion.  Too much mass.
