Gee. Isn't that the kind of thing that happens when a authoritarian/totalitarian government suffers a military reverse? That is, isn't it covered up? The Japanese did it after the Battle of Midway, in which they lost the flower of their fleet at sea. The news of the defeat was covered up.
That's why you don't put up with censorship. It's how a failing government sustains itself in power. The truth would make them accountable, and a failing government cannot allow that. Now, if a government were truly democratic and open, such cover ups would not be possible. Something to think about, you people.
