He says he's right, and he probably is. However, there's some points in which I would disagree. It's not really much of a disagreement, but there ONE.
We've got to call things by their right names. It's a narrow mandate, not a broad one. Trump won a large majority in the electoral college. But he did it with small majorities. The House elections are too close, and the Senate victories should have been more numerous. Don't call it a big mandate.
It is a mandate, it's just not a big one. Trump needs to be careful to marshall that political captial wisely. This may play into the hands of the weaker faction of never-Trumpers and so-called "moderates". That's the argument that the left loves. It's called the "political spectrum". The "political spectrum" is bullshit. It is designed to hamstring any conservative. Trump must not fall for it. Reagan didn't. His successor and those following DID.
Bongino is correct about one of the things he said.. There's no time to relax, but don't act like you won in a blow-out. That's because it wasn't one.
