My Fair Lady --- Professor Higgins' motivational speech

People really do judge you on the words you speak, and how you speak those words. It seems unfair, but that is the way it is. The character Eliza Dolittle set upon the task of learning how to speak properly, and she was struggling mightily. This speech motivated her to succeed.

Why bring this up? That video with Tucker Carlson and the Dr. Willie Soon shows the principle in action. People will judge Dr. Soon on the way he speaks as opposed to the what he speaks. He will be judged adversely based upon that alone ( by some, or maybe by many), and it seems quite unfair. But that is the way it is.

This is what the professor corrected in that movie: "Why can't the English learn to speak?"
