UNSEEN FOOTAGE: DC cops retreat from position on upper west terrace around 2:30 on January 6

Yours truly doesn't know the significance of this event...

But I continue to believe that this was a set up. Not an insurrection, or at least not by the people there on that day. It wasn't about overthrowing the Constitution. If it isn't that, then it cannot be an insurrection. An insurrection can only be against the legal authority. The representatives of that government aren't the sovereignty itself, but only agents of the sovereignty. Disobedience to them personally does not constitute insurrection.

To put it another way, they aren't the LAW, but only servants to the LAW. An attempt to place themselves into a position of sovereignty so that a disobedience to them PERSONALLY is actually an insurrection itself. They have no such authority.

UNSEEN FOOTAGE: DC cops retreat from position on upper west terrace around 2:30 on January 6. They had been attacking the crowd with gas, stun grenades, rubber bullets for over an hour.

They left that door unprotected.
