"AG Barr lied when he said that the OLC opinion did NOT impact decision."
Oh? It seems that they had a meeting before the report was released. So, why isn't it the case that in this meeting, it was discussed, and that it was agreed that the OLC opinion was not a factor. In other words, why isn't Mueller lying?
Is it now a case of who to believe--- Barr or Mueller?
You have to have a stronger case than this than to say Barr is lying.
In any case, exoneration is not an objective. Conviction is. If Mueller could have recommended impeachment and removal from office for obstruction, could he have included that in his report?
This is politics as usual.
.@TedLieu: “The reason...that you did not indict Donald Trump is because of the OLC opinion stating that you cannot indict a sitting president, correct?”— CAP Action (@CAPAction) July 24, 2019
MUELLER: That is correct.
