Fed cutting rates soon?

The yield curve is slightly inverted.  Inverted yield curves accompany recessions.  It doesn't always happen, but it does happen often enough to be concerned.  If the fed funds rates are cut, it will flatten the yield curve, which is already pretty flat.  What does it mean?

The link to the article suggests that the economy will boom.  We'll see.

A speculation here is that the stock market could see a rally.  However, the rest of the economy is already doing okay.  If this article is correct, the economy could see growth rates even greater than what is occurring now.
