This arrest may lead to some light upon the Democrat charge of Russian hacking of the DNC emails. If Assange can prove that the source was not Russia, then this arrest can be seen as really bad news for the Democrat narrative.
At least, that is what I think. Perhaps the obfuscation is such that it doesn't matter at this point. However, if there are enough people in this country that care about the truth, this arrest can finally settle the matter as to whether or not the emails were hacked, or leaked by a disgruntled DNC staffer by the name of Seth Rich.
If Mueller was really doing his job, this would have been the first question answered. Instead, it has been over two years. The real job of Mueller may well have been the obfuscation of the facts.
Updated a short while later...:
a little more on the Wikileaks here.
Mr. Assange is suspected of aiding Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election by releasing material stolen from the Clinton campaign. Justice charged 12 Russian intelligence officers least one of them was in contact with WikiLeaks.https://t.co/2rmZExoLrI— wretchardthecat (@wretchardthecat) April 11, 2019
