When it comes to anything Trump, you can be assured that Democrats are going to be all over it. Hence we have the latest riots ( called "protests" by the media ) with regards to the George Floyd killing.
This sparked my curiosity a bit, so I started checking it out for details. There is precious little info about George Floyd. It is now about the cops. I checked out the video. There are bystanders who filmed the incident, and who are yelling at the cops to let the guy up.
One comment about THAT. For one thing, you are not supposed to interfere with police officers in the performance of their duties. There were two cops shown in the video. One has Floyd pinned down, and the other is facing the group of people taking part in the video. We don't see how many of those people were present.
My impression is that the second cop was controlling the people who were heckling the cops. If there were only two cops present, then the problem is that there weren't enough cops on the scene in order to get the guy under control. There was something said about putting the guy in the car, but the cop or cops said that they tried this for several minutes. Evidently, there was a furious struggle.
Very little information other than that with regard to Floyd is available at this time. Instead of that, there is plenty about the reaction to it.
It seems that it has gone political with Obama and Biden weighing in on the matter. Trump is said to have posted a tweet about the RIOTS, which these guys are attempting to make an issue out of it.
Trump seems to have tweeted that the shooting starts when the riots start, or something to that effect. There are media stories about how bad of a thing that was to say. It should be mentioned that Trump was referring to RIOTS, not protests. The media wants this to be about PROTESTS. Protests do not include destruction of businesses and being disruptive.
I suspect the "protests" are meant to create further mayhem that has already been visited upon the country from the SCAMDEMIC, which is being mislabelled as a pandemic. The "pandemic" is fostered by the same motive, which has been in evidence all along. That motive is to sabotage the Presidency of Donald Trump and punish America for putting him in the White House.
The President wanted the RIOTS to stop. Everyone has the right to peaceable assemble and redress their grievances, but this does not include violence and rioting. But the Democrats are pouring the gasoline on the fire so to speak by taking it national and escalating the situation.
All to be expected. We can expect this until it is resolved one way or the other. It is a political situation. It isn't a matter of justice. That is probably why there almost no information about George Floyd and why you cannot see who put this video together and what motivated them to interfere. The pertinent facts are being hidden.
We don't get to see what happened that caused the incident in the first place. Nor anything about George Floyd. It is all about the cops now and Trump. Of course "whitey" is to blame too. Trouble is, this was a Democrat-run police department and the Democrats are now making political hay out of it. I smell a rat.
