Didn't watch the video.  However, in the written part of the linked post, it seems likely that the negotiations are fake.

If so, it fits the fake that so often typifies the existing power structure.

Down with the fake.

I would hope that if the administration feels that the Dems are merely stalling, without any real good faith effort at negotiating, then the negotiations should be terminated.

Let the shutdown run until election day.  Let's see how they hold up to it.
